Chapter 4- Get To Know Each Other

Evie's Pov

Mal and I were sitting in Remedial Goodness as the bell rang. Mal and I got up but Fairy Godmother stopped us from leaving. "Ladies, you need tutors! You two are failing Remedial Goodness class." She says, smiling. "What!?" Mal and I said.

"But, it's literally the first day of school! And, we're villains! What do you expect?" Mal asked and I nodded in agreement. "Okay, good point. But, your tutors will meet you in your dorm tonight." She said. "Yes, Fairy Godmother." We both said and walked out of class.

"I hope our tutors aren't going to be really awkward." Mal said and I nodded. We walked into our dorms and just hung out.

Carlos' Pov

Fairy Godmother called Ben and I into her Remedial Goodness class. We both walked in. "Yes, Fairy Godmother?" I asked. "Can you boys tutor Mal and Evie for now until they get better?" She asked. Evie? That cute- I mean, girl from lunch yesterday? I thought to myself.

Cut it out, Carlos! You have a girlfriend! "Carlos?" Ben said, waving his hand in my face. I snapped out of my trance. "Yes?" I asked, looking at Ben. "Come on! We have to get ready!" He said, running out the class. I ran out with him.

Evie's Pov

Mal and I were just sitting around waiting for our tutors to come. "So, what you wanna talk about?" I asked Mal and she shrugged. We heard a knock on the door. Mal opened it. She gasped. "Derp." She said and she fell to the ground.  I ran over. "M, who's at the door?" I asked and stood up. She pointed. I turned around and saw Ben and Carlos, smiling.

I tried to catch my breath. "Merp." I said and everything went black.

Time skip...

"Hey, Evie? Wake up." I heard a voice say. I groaned and opened my eyes. I saw Carlos looking at me. "What? What happened." I said and got up from my bed. "Well, you and Mal fainted." Ben said.

All I could say was, "Oh." Ben and Carlos got out the Remedial Goodness books. "Oh my gosh, I totally forgot! You're our tutors?" Mal asked. They both nodded.

I smiled. "Yay!" I said, Carlos turned around. "What was that, Evie?" Carlos asked. "Um, N-nothing." I stuttered.

"So, let's stop talking about us. We want to hear more about you girls." Ben said and sat down. Mal and I sat down too. "Well..." Mal said. "Back on the Isle, My Mom is the nicest mom a villian kid could ever ask for." She chuckled. I smiled. "After all those years of trying to kill Sleeping Beauty...She quit. But, she still taught me how to be the most evil girl there ever was." She said.

Ben and Carlos turned to me. "Evie?" Ben said. I nodded. I took a deep breath. "Okay, My Mom, she was the most sweetest thing ever." Carlos smiled. "Then what happened?" Ben asked. I teared up a little bit. "Um, she-she died when I was two years old..." I sniffled and Mal hugged me tightly.

"If you don't mind me asking, how did she pass?" Carlos asked. "The dwarfs murdered her right after Snow White passed. I mean, she didn't even do anything to them." I cried into Mal's shoulder. She rubbed my back. "Then, my mom took care of her." Mal said. I pulled away and Carlos hugged me tightly.

"I'm so sorry about your mom, Evie. But, she's in a better place now." He whispered. I pulled away. "Okay, enough with the sappy stuff, let's get to studying." I chuckled and we all got to work.
