3rd Persons POV
Mal, Ben, Evie and Carlos were walking to the studio in Auradon to meet with the director so they can film their movie. They finally met with the director. "Hello, everyone! Welcome to the set of 'High School Musical'! He said, smiling. Everyone clapped and cheered.
"So, this is our choreographer, Marisa." Kenny, the Director said as he brought Marisa up with him and she waved. "I'm so happy to be working with you all!" She said, stepping back. Kenny introduced the rest of the crew and they all got to business.
"Alright, Evie and Carlos, you guys will do a duet with each other! The song is called, 'The Start of Something New'." Kenny said. Evie squealed. "Yay! I can sing!" She said. Carlos laughed and shook his head at her silliness.
"So, you two will start recording right now! Everyone, stand back and watch the magic happen!" Kenny said. Marisa and him pushed them into the sound booth together. Evie's eyes widened.
"Oh, so, this is happening r-right now?" She said, looking around. Kenny nodded. "Alright, and start singing!" He said. The music started playing.
Carlos took a deep breath and started singing.
Carlos: Living in my own world, didn't understand. That anything can happen, when you take a chance.
Carlos sang and looked at Evie, waiting for her to sing. Evie smiled and started singing.
Evie: I never believed in, what I couldn't see...
Carlos: Ohh
Evie: I never opened my heart, to all the possibilities, ohh.
Evie sang, shyly, looking down. Carlos lifted her chin up, smiling.
Carlos and Evie: I knew that something has changed, never felt this way...
Carlos: And right here, tonight...
Carlos and Evie: It's the start of something new.
Evie: It feels so right
Carlos and Evie: To be here with you, oh. And now, I'm looking in your eyes.
Evie: I feel in my heart
Carlos: Feel in my heart
Carlos and Evie: The start of something new...
Carlos: Now, who'd ever thought that, mmm.
Carlos and Evie: We'd be here tonight?
Carlos: Oh.
Evie: Yeah, and the world looks so much brighter...
Carlos: Brighter, brighter.

They both sang as they smiled at each other.
Carlos and Evie: I know that something has changed, never felt this way.

Carlos: So right

Carlos and Evie were about to kiss, but they heard clapping from outside and realized they were still in rehearsal. Evie's eyes widened, looking at the crowd.
"Oh. I, uh, forgot we were here..." She said, looking down, blushing. "Yeah, me too," Carlos said, blushing. "Let's go. Ladies first." He said, opening the door for Evie. She smiled and walked out to see Mal running up to her and hugged her tightly.
"E, who knew you could sing that high!?" Mal said in excitement, squeezing Evie. Evie couldn't breath and started to fall slowly into Mal's arms. "Can't....Breath..." Evie said with her eyes slowly closing. Mal let go and laughed. "Sorry, E." She said.
Evie laughed. "It's okay. You're fine!" She said as they both walked out of rehearsal and went to their dorms.
