7:45 a.m. at Bill's house
"S - S - SHUT UP,"  he yelled. "MUH - MUH - MAKE ME LOSER HAHA," you mocked.

you and bill had been very close friends since you were babies. your guys' moms were very close and went to college together. they were roommates until you and bill were 4.

you lived with bill for a month now, until your mom comes back from her business trip. even though your house is next door, you've always had this creepy feeling of being alone inside it, so you decided to stay with bill.

your sister and his brother both went missing near the same time. only he knew, and it usually stayed that way. you didn't like much sympathy.

he was very protective of you and you always made sure he was okay.

but that doesn't mean that you guys quarreled sometimes.

"god, bill give me back my glasses!!" i scream. "you're gonna have to catch me first!"

he yells back. you grab him by his backpack and take your glasses from his hand.

"c'mon bill, it's the last day of school! let's just get it over with and spend the next three months doing nothing." he rolls his eyes and whines, "fine."

2:15 p.m. at the front of the school

when you finally got out of the school, someone covers your eyes and says, "boo." you expected to see henry after, but then it was just eddie who was apparently waiting for us to get out of our last classes. but just as you playfully punch his arm, his expression changes. you look over to where he's looking and your blood starts boiling.

you see henry and his goons grabbing richie shoving him into stan. he falls to the ground with richie toppling over him.

at that point, you snapped. you walked up to henry, slapped him, and walked away. he smirked at you and said "y'know, you could be hanging out with us instead of those losers." you fake laughed and said, "right, and after that, i'll go on my rocket ship to mars. not gonna happen, douchebag."

henry thought you were attractive, so that got you a free pass from getting hurt. but for the boys, it was opposite.

"ASSHOLE!!" richie yells.

"what'd you say, frog-face?" henry says while smirking.

"YOU HEARD ME HENRY!" just as henry starts walking up to him, he sees his dad out of the corner of his eye and whispered something in richie's ear, then walked away.

the walk to our houses was pretty quiet. nobody really talked except for the five minute lecture from eddie talking about his mom's friends trip on the subway.

richie comes closer to you and says "that was pretty hot when you slapped henry over there." you sarcastically respond with, "i know, right"

richie slugs his arm around you "now you're the second hottie in this group. following after me of course."

you roll your eyes, lick your hand, and wipe it on richie's face.

he takes his finger, touches the spot you licked and puts it in his mouth.

"du - ude! th - that's disgusting!!!" you say in between laughs.

he opened his mouth, about to say something until bill cut him off.

"s-so are we going to m-my house or yours?" you shrugged and bill says "y - yours it is."
