Everyone hurried to the guild hall, not wanting to tempt fate. The crowd quickly gathered in front of the stage, waiting for Mira to announce the next performance.
"Alright, everyone! Before we start, I have an announcement to make: Levy and Gajeel will not be performing for us tonight. On the bright side, GaLe is confirmed!" *fangirl squeal*
At that last comment, everyone turned to the two said wizards only to see them blushing and holding their faces, not looking at each other, or anyone else.
Lucy immediately knew what had happened.
The two kissed to get out of performing and were trying to avoid eye contact. She was happy for her blue-haired friend.
Levy had always liked Gajeel. As a friend, though. Then as a teammate. Then something more. She had loved him for a while but was too shy to say so.
Gajeel, on the other hand, had been in love with shrimp since the day she forgave him. Maybe not as strong at first, but as time went on, they hung out more. He grew more attached. Feelings made themselves present.
They were both completely over the moon about kissing the other, and so was Mira
"Now, on with the show! Next, I would like Natsu to sing!"
He was nervous, as he had been for a while. But as he walked onto that stage he gained confidence. The big goofball stood up there staring out at the guild hall. At his friends. At his family. The music started, but not for 'Angel'. No, he was singing a different song for her
(Lyrics take a long time, and I'd rather write the story rather than some lyrics that will be ignored anyway!)
As soon as Natsu finished the song, he made a beeline for Lucy, pulling her into a crushing hug. He hid his face in the crook of her neck, inhaling her scent.
Her sweet, vanilla-strawberry scent.
It drove him insane.
Trusting her hair to muffle his voice, Natsu Dragneel muttered four words:
"I love you, Lucy"
Good night everyone! Sorry for not giving you all a serious chapter foooor *mathing intensifies* 51 days? Holy crap! No wonder I've been getting death threats...just kidding! Don't worry. You should be getting another one within the next 100-er-10 days, I mean. Heh heh...
