Lance held back the urge to shift as he sensed a human around the area. Keith. They were good friends and Lance didn't want to ruin that friendship with his secret. Even if Lance was only half vampire, he still smelled the sweet blood aroma in the air. Keith walked into Lance's room.
"Lance, you feeling alright? You've been acting stranger than usual ever since we defeated Zarkon."(Remember that episode.😏)
Lance avoided eye contact with Keith. "Nope nothing wrong. I've been feeling great! Perfectly fine. No problems here!" Sweat dripped off of Lance's face, hoping Keith took the bait.
Keith didn't believe him. "I know you're lying Lance. The team's worried about you. Just let us help you." Keith reached out his hand to Lance's shoulder.
As soon as the pale boy touched the vampire, Lance turned and hissed at Keith. Fangs visible. Keith moved his hand back, shocked drawn all over his face. Lance realized his mistake and looked away from Keith, hiding the tears streaming down his face. Keith moved closer to Lance, embracing him in a hug.
Lance struggled to break free. "K-Keith you don't have do this. I know I'm a monster. Just kill me while you can." That only made Keith hug tighter.
"You're not a monster Lance. We'll find a way to fix this. You're not alone, everyone's here for you. Remember when I figured out I was part galra? It was hard for me, for everyone. Especially Allura. But we learned that I'm still the same person galra or not. Same as you. You're still our sharpshooter whether you're part vampire or not. Remember that."
They hugged in silence.
Well not really. Lance was crying on Keith's shoulder but you get the point.
Lance,then, lightly pushed Keith away. He looked straight at the raven haired boy. Keith was concerned why Lance did that.
Lance looked at his hands.
"But what if I can't change back."
Ayy. Alot of people like vampire Au's especially now. For Halloween, I decided to do a vampire au! Most of these kinds of Au's have Keith as the vampire but in this one Lance is. They went on a planet to celebrate their victory but then a weird animal bit Lance in the neck. It turned him into a vampire. Ok that's it for this MONTH. TTYL
