"What happened today?" Lexi asked very curious about the days events.
" So I had a AP Bio test today. Along with a very interesting day in algebra, once again." I sighed.
"That's it, really?" she asked, disappointed. "I thought that there was going to be more that just that."
"Well boo hoo. sorry to disapoint you." I say, right as I collide with the mass of football players walking down the middle of the hallway.
"Hahaha!!" Lexi cackled as I fell on my butt."That's what you get."
"Shut up and help me up." I growl at her.
"Allow me," said a new voice, as a pair of strong hands helped me up.
"Thanks," I say, kinda bashfully.
"No problem, I'd help you anytime." He winks, and jogs to catch up with his buddies. I blush slightly, but it was enough for Lexi to notice.
"What was that?" she asked very curious.
" I dont know, maybe the quarterback of our football team just flirted with me."
"You do know that he's just a player, right? And I dont mean a football player.
"Yes I know-"
"Then you should know to stay away from him. He just plays with poor girls' hearts, then throws them away." she said while trying to wrap her arm around my shoulders.
"I'll try, but no promises." I say as I wink at her.
"Seriously, I don't want you to be as heartbroken over him if he dumps you, as you were with Quincey."
"I promise I won't be, that was a silly middle school crush on a huge dickhead. It makes me sick to even think about him now. But he," I say pointing in the direction the football players, "Is Mr Perfect.""You are going to regret saying that." She says with a smirk.
"I just fucked up, right?"
"Seriously." She laughs.
