Pink Lemonade

"I have to pee.. really bad"

Was all Kakashi thought as he rolled over on the hard dirt beneath him. He looked around, it was still dark, around 3 am probably. The fire was still going strong even though he fell asleep hours ago. He glanced up and saw Obito snoring in a high up tree branch, a piece of grass sticking from his lips, drool running down his cheek into a puddle on his shoulder.

"How disgusting" he thought as Kakashi turned his gaze to the elegant Rin sleeping soundlessly, using her arm as a pillow. Her face was dark from the shadow the fire cast on her. Lastly, Kakashi looked down and saw his Sensei leaning against a tree, his eyes shut. He was awake, Kakashi could sense it. He must have kept the fire going all this time. Minato-Sensei never really slept on overnight missions because he was so on guard, expecting to be attacked. The pressure down below made itself known again and Kakashi stood quickly, silently walking over to Minato.

"Minato-Sensei"

"Hmm?" he opened one eye to look at Kakashi

"I'm going to use the bathroom"

"Alright, be quick" was all he said as he closed the eye

Kakashi jogged away until he found a good spot away from everyone and he pulled down his pants, a steady stream of urine coming from him as he sighed with a comfortable release. The little kid in Kakashi came out and he was able to write his name and half of his last before the stream wore into droplets then ceased altogether. He shook the remaining drops and pulled his pants back up as made his way back to the camp.

Kakashi was wide awake now but laid down anyway. The hard dirt sucked to lay on. During the summer it was a bit softer and not so bad, but it was beginning to be the middle of fall and the ground was hardening. A cricket jumped into the boy's view and he poked at it to make it jump in different directions, but grew bored of it quickly and let it go. Kakashi sat up again, "no sense laying around not able to sleep" he thought and once again walked over to his Sensei.

"Minato-Sensei"

"What, Kakashi?" the man said in a groggy voice. He must have finally fell asleep, but Kakashi woke him.

"I'm going to go train. I can't sleep"

"Is that a question or demand?" the Yellow Flash opened his left eye again.

"A question, Sensei"

"Well, no" he shut the eye again.

"But why?" Kakashi said with some sass in his voice.

"Because we were out late and you need to rest. Go lay down, now" Minato was getting aggravated with the kid's attitude.

"But, Sensei, I-"

"Kakashi!" Minato's voice had grown into a normal voice instead of their whispering.

Kakashi sulked back to his spot opposite of Rin and laid down. Minato was watching him to make sure he didn't try to disobey. The boy looked up at the clouds moving by. He didn't remember falling asleep, but woke to everyone else waking. Minato was of course in his annoyingly bright mood that was much too loud and peppy for Kakashi's liking, it being so early in the morning and all.

"Let's go home! We should get there by noon if we don't stop!" The man beamed as the three students walked in front of him. As much as Kakashi hated sleeping outside, he did like the company his team offered him. He lived alone in his father's big home, it got so lonely. He wished he had siblings or even an aunt or uncle. At least Obito had his grandmother. He really missed his dad. He always made time to train or play with him. However, since Kakashi was so young, his father never gave him any sort of guidance into his teen or adult life. Now Kakashi was stuck having to change book covers in the local bookstore to be able to leave with "adult" books. This reminded him: he was in a pretty steamy spot in the book he was reading and since they would be on the road for awhile, he thought it might be a good idea to break it out.

Kakashi pulled a book titled "What a Woman Wants" from his waist bag and opened it to the page he had folded down to mark his spot. Of course, no sooner did he pull it out, a certain someone, his Sensei, slipped it from his hands.

"And what is Kakashi reading this week?" Minato said in a playful tone, expecting it to be a normal teen genre. The boy didn't even bother trying to take it back, he knew he wouldn't be able to.

"Ka-Kakashi? How did you get this?"

"From the store"

"This is an adult's book, Kakashi! Not suitable for a boy your age! And I said HOW not WHERE!"

Obito laughed loudly at the sight of Kakashi's eyes looking down at the road like a scolded puppy.

"Obito!" Rin whispered at him angrily.

"You two keep going, I'm going to talk to Kakashi alone. And I mean alone, Obito. No hiding trying to listen in." Minato said with a skeptical eye.

"Don't worry, Sensei, I'll keep him away!" Rin gleamed and grabbed Obito's hand, basically dragging him as she ran ahead to give Minato and Kakashi some privacy.

Minato waited until the two were out of sight.

"Kakashi.."

"What"

Minato sighed as he looked down and put a hand atop the silver hair below him, "How did you get this book? I know the owner, he would never sell this to you. Did you steal it?"

"No, I don't steal. I just used a bit of image jutsu and changed the cover with a kid one and he didn't know and sold it to me. But now you're going to tell him."

"I am, yes"

"Great" Kakashi turned around and started to walk, following the others. He felt Minato grab his wrist and pull him back.

"Now hold on. I'm not done. What is your fascination with these smut books?"

"Because they teach me" Kakashi refused to look into his Sensei's eyes, embarrassment written all over his face.

"Kakashi.. Don't you know about sex already?"

Kakashi said nothing.

Minato froze but remembered that Kakashi was young when his family died and his father killed himself. How could Minato be so stupid and forget to give him the talk?! Afterall, the schools in the village didn't cover the human body. Only the medical core did. They thought it was pointless to give kids the talk, it would take time away from ninja training.

"I'll come over to your home later tonight to talk to you. Until then, I'll keep this."

With that, the two started on their way back to Konoha.
