Hiroe ended up taking me back into the school building after all.

She ended up leaving me on my lonesome after a bit of convincing. It was obvious that she still needed time for her nerves to settle.

I, on the other hand, took pushing the wheels of my chair too lightly. With the weak state my body was in, my arms ached miserably as I rolled down the halls. I tried my best not to show it around passing students, but I knew the discomfort was written clear across my face.

After a few more feet of utter misery, the feeling of my chair being halted against my push prompted me to turn over my shoulder. Who stood behind me was a beaming Karafuru with her fingers wrapped around the handles of my chair. I smiled meekly at her as she proceeded to push me forward.

"You really shouldn't be doing this by yourself, Yuki," she scolded jokingly. "Where's your aunt?"

"Oh..." I cleared my throat. "I told her to go take a break. It really mustn't be that fun to push me around all day."

"I'm sure she loves it," she reassured, prompting another smile. "Where're you headed? I'll be your chaperone for a while."

"I was looking for Tenya," I confessed, glancing at her sheepishly again. "I can't seem to find him."

Karafuru raised her eyebrows knowingly and turned my chair around. "You passed him, silly. He's with Midoriya and Uraraka; I'm surprised he didn't see you."

"How has he been?" I decided to ask after a short silence.

"Hm?" Karafuru hummed. "Iida? It's hard to tell with him. He's always so bold, y'know?"

I nod. "Yes..."

"Why do you ask? Did you notice something off?" She pressed. I could feel her eyes on the back of my head.

"Sort of," I replied honestly, seeing the boy in question with Midoriya and Uraraka ahead of us. "When... I suggested that I leave U.A., his smile vanished and he looked, I don't know, out of it? And he was angry when Hattori showed up in class, yet it was discreet."

"Well of course he'd be upset about both of those things," Karafuru stated matter-of-factly. "You're his girlfriend. The thought of you being anywhere but with him must make him nuts. I can't even imagine how he was able to go through not seeing you at the hospital. Even I was restless! And as for the... Hattori situation, he saw how that affected you. We all did.."

Karafuru trailed off and I turned my gaze toward the window. "She's a villain."

"Yeah," Karafuru agreed. "A villain that.. technically helped kill your dad. Iida and the rest of us saw how you felt when she came into the classroom this morning. In a way, I think we all felt a little bit of your pain."

"I don't need any of you to feel sorry for me," I mumbled, narrowing my eyes. "I'm fine."

Karafuru sighed, but said nothing as we approached the trio.

"Uraraka," Midoriya was saying. "Why did you decided to try and become a hero?"

"O-oh... uh," I watched silently as Karafuru stopped behind Iida. None of them seemed to notice us yet. "Because... I want to become a hero for the money."

"That's quite out of character for you." I finally spoke up, prompting a startled yip to launch out of Uraraka's mouth. Iida and Midoriya turned to face us.

"Seconded." Karafuru agreed.

"Sorry! It's such an unwholesome reason!" Uraraka cried, waving her hands defensively. "Midoriya, Karafuru, and Iida have such admirable motivations, it's embarrassing..."
