FYI: The chapter title is NOT a typo. Emily only has a mother at the moment. Don't forget to vote and comment after reading!

Emily:

"Mom," I started. "This is my boyfriend."

"Yeah." She said. "I can see that."

She was looking at Ashton, as if she was grading him (which she probably was).

"You have a lovely home." Ashton said. He knew how to get people to like him.

"Thank you! I just had the kitchen redone." My mom launched into her very uninteresting story of the old kitchen.

Rachel finally came in to save the day.

"Who's her-" she stopped speaking, shocked.

"Emily," she said.

"Yes?" I replied, a sly smile on my face.

"I thought you were kidding." She said with her mouth hanging open.

"Well. I wasn't." I replied.

I grabbed Ashton's hand and pulled him in the direction of the hallway.

I whispered in my older sister's ear as we passed.

"And close your mouth, you'll catch flies." I heard my mom and Ashton stifle laughs as we turned the corner.

"That's the bathroom," I began a tour of my house, showing Ash each of the bedrooms and introducing him to Brianna.

"Hi. You're Emily's boyfwend, Ashton." She said.

"I am. You must be Brianna?" Ashton said.

"That's my name!" She yelled, clearly misunderstanding the question.

Ashton tickled her stomach. And she giggled.

"I have to go bed. Will you be here tomorrow?" Brianna asked.

"He will." My mom said as she came into Brianna's room.

"I will?" Ashton asked.

"Yes. I'm inviting you to have dinner with us tomorrow. I understand if you have a special schedule because you're on tour though." She added.

"I'd love to join you for dinner." Ashton replied with his million-dollar smile.

"Perfect. Now shoo so I can put this baby to bed!" My mom walked over to Brianna.

I rolled my eyes and dragged Ashton out of the room.

"Finally, this is my room." I opened the door. The walls were painted navy blue. With red and white accents, the room revolved around a Union Jack (British Flag) theme. A chair sat under the only window and a full-sized bed was stuffed in the corner.

"Your room is awesome." Ashton said as he looked around my tiny room. "Wow. You have so many books. I didn't know you liked to read."

"I never mentioned books to you?" I asked.

"Then again, we've only known each other for a couple of days." He laughed.

I laughed too.

HONK!

"That's Al. I better go, I'll see you tomorrow for dinner."

"Yup. I'll walk you out." We left the room and walked out onto the porch.

"I'll text you tomorrow or something. I had a lot of fun tonight." Ashton said.

"Okay. And I did too." I replied.

Ashton kissed me on the nose and jogged down the steps to his car. Before he got in next to Al, he waved.

I waved back and waited on the porch until the car was out of sight.

"He's very nice. Old for you though." My mom said as she loaded the dishwasher.

"I guess. He's going to be twenty in July. I don't really care though, and neither does he." I added, making sure my mother understood that I wasn't breaking up with my first real boyfriend because he was a little older than me.

"Yeah. But I don't want you in the tabloids or anything." She started ranting about the lies the writers created just to make some money.

"It's inevitable. I've probably already been edited in to the next edition of People Magazine." I laughed. My mother glared, she hated when I used sarcasm.

"Sorry." I said after an awkward moment. "But it's true. I'm dating one of the most famous people on earth. And the fact that I'm a lot younger and not a celebrity makes me an easy target. That's what Ashton said."

"I know." She sighed. "But I want to keep your life as private as possible. Especially with Ashton."

"Yeah." I took a deep breath. "Ashton ad I made a deal that he can only give updates in interviews. And he can only answer a couple of questions. Nothing too serious or prying."

"Okay. Good."

"I've got to go to bed. I'm exhausted."

I told her as I walked towards my room.

"M'kay." Was the only response I got.

Ashton:

I walked into the hotel room and closed the door behind me. As I turned around I saw Michael and Luke playing video games. Calum was on the phone in the other room, probably with his sister.

"Hey. How was dinner?" Luke asked.

"WHAT?!" Michael yelled.

Luke paused the game and turned to Michael.

"Shut your hole for 30 seconds. Ashton?" he asked again.

"It was nice. Emily's been getting loads if hate though." I said sadly.

"When in doubt, tweet it out."

I looked up from my vans. Calum was walking through the doorway to the other room.

"You're right. Imma go get changed and tell everyone to stop sending hate to us." I took off my shirt as I walked over to the pile of clothes strewn around my open suitcase.

"That's my boy." Michael slapped me on the shoulder.

"IM GOING TO CRUSH YOU LUCAS." I rolled my eyes at Michael's competitive manner and pulled out my phone.
