What went wrong

Chapter 3

I turn around to get a better look at the boy, I've seen him around but we've never talked. He had brown hair and was pretty tall, I think his name was Landon but I wasn't sure. Next thing I saw was that the boy who called me out and Landon was right on top of him a big crowd stared forming.

Exactly what I don't want to happen..

" Why do you even care about her man she killed my best friend Jacob and that's not right!"

The other boy screams as he's on the floor getting beaten up.

Oh no, wait best friend uhhh Jack!Ya that's jack of course he's hated me ever since Jacob died.

What to do, what to do, I think. Times running out and more people started getting involved. This is all because of me but why Landon?? I wish I could scream stop but I knew that might have been a horrible idea.

Then Landon punches him across the face, turns and looks at me, then walks away and I could have sworn he said

" because no girl gets to be treated like that and she's perfect." Finishing off Jacks question. I could see both of them had bruises and blood down there faces. Then I though Perfect? Is that what he said No no no no absolutely not!

I hate myself and Jacob always told me not to and I guess for awhile I didn't until he left I started doubting myself again.

I had to find Landon, I pushed through the halls as students and teachers tried to ask me what happened but I had to find him! If only I new his next class. Maybe Abby knows I think she has a few classes with him and as of right now I think he's the only other person who knows I didn't kill Jacob either.

I run up to Abby and she screams

"LILY WHAT THE HECK DID YOU DO!"

"Um it's a long story."

"Long story!? Seriously what's with all the fighting though!"

"Just come to my house after school and I will tell you today's been a very long day ok?"

"Ok, bye see you later!"

"Hey wait I almost forgot, umm where's Landon?"

"Oh lily! Don't tell me he was involved to!"

"He was..."

"Ok just tell me later , I think he went down that way"

She points down to the right.

"Ok I promise I will tell you, got to go byee"

"Bye!"

I run towards the right and find him finally!

He's sitting with all his friends by the door about to leave when I call

"Hey Landon!"

He turns around then tells something to his friends. They leave and he comes closer to me.

"What uh umm what was that"

I kinda trail off in my thoughts

Landon looks at me then says

"Well you deserve better ok? Just call me."

Wait hold up he's giving me his

number?

"Ok"

I say and write it down I'm a little lost but I'm pretty sure we will talk after school.

He's face doesn't look that beaten up so that's good.

Anyway he walks out the door without saying anything else.
