"He's my best friend," she shrugged, "That hasn't changed."
"It's clear your feelings for him have." Her best friend stated, a teasing glint in her eyes.
"No." She shook her head. "My feelings for him haven't changed. I feel the same way that I've always felt."
"What do you mean?" Her friend asked. "You two have been best friends for five years and you actually love him?"
"I never said anything about love. But yes, I love him. That hasn't changed. I loved him the day I met him."
"None of us ever knew."
"I never wanted you to know."
