After breakfast we cleaned up and sat on the chouch watching tv. Shawn wrapped his arm around my shoulders and I laid my head on his chest. I carefully listened to his heartbeat and smiled. "Hey. Why are you smiling?" He asked with a smile, a little confused. "Nothing. Just your heartbeat." "My heartbeat?" I looked up at him. "Yes. It's the most beautiful sound for me." He smiled and placed a gentle kiss on my forehead. "I love you." He said as he hugged me tight. "I love you too." Then we continued watching tv. This is the best thing on the world. Just sitting there next to the person you truly love. Nothing can compare to it. Even just watching tv on a Saturday is perfect, as long as he's next to me. I appreciate every single moment with him.
"Hey Mia?" Shawn said after a while. "Yes?" I looked up at him. "Let's do something fun today." He said with a huge smile. "Yeah. Why not. What have you in mind?" "Hmm. Let's go to the beach!" "Sounds perfect!" We got up and headed to our room. I searched for my bikini and decided to wear a blue one. "I like that one." He said with a smirk. "But Mia. Don't you think it's too much?" I looked confused at him. "What do you mean by 'too much'?" "I mean that no ather guy can fall in love with you. I don't like to share." You smile at the thought of Shawn getting jealous. "Don't worry. No one else can compare to you. You're perfect to me." I said and gave him a kiss. He then pulled me by my waist closer. And kissed me passionately. And I could feel a little smirk from him while he kissed me. "Maybe we should stay home after all and I can continue kissing you." Shawn said as we pulled apart. "Shawn. You can kiss me when ever you want, so that means on the beach too. Let's go now." I said laughing. But when I started to walk away he pulled me back. We were so close that there was no space between us. "Okay babe. But I can promise you that I will kiss you every five minutes so I can be sure everyone there knows that you're mine." "Sounds great to me." I say and place a little kiss on his lips and went to change my clothes. I wore a white t-shirt and shorts. I made a ponytail and when I came back Shawn was sitting on the bed waiting for me. "Ready?" "Yes." Then we went downstairs. I took my purse and the house keys. When we exited the house I locked the front door and we headed to the car. Shawn opened the door for me and closed it when I sat down. Then went to the driver's seat and started the car.
We listened to music the whole way. And we sang together too. I love it when Shawn sings. His voice is amazing, but he thinks it's normal. But I know he has talent.
We arrived and Shawn parked his car. We then beaded to the beach. "Mia." Shawn asked walking behind me. "Yes?" I asked as I turned to face him. "This." He said before kissing me. "I told you I was going to kiss you every five minutes when we arrive at the beach." He said with a smirk. "I remember." I day laughing. We then continued walking when we arrived. There were already some people having fun on the beach. I put my towel down and Shawn did the same with his. I then laid down and closed my eyes and enjoyed the warmth of the sun. But then suddenly a shadow appeared in front of me. I open my eyes and see Shawn standing there looking at me. "What?" I asked. He then smirked at me. "Let's go swim." "But I like it here." "Really?" Then he came and grabbed my hand to pull me closer to him. "We are going to swim. That's why we came." He said laughing and started too. "Fine!" I said and we went swimming. The water was a little cold at first but soon I used to it. It was fun to swim with Shawn. But after a while we decided to go back to our towels and sit. "Do you want a drink?" Shawn asked. "Yes. A smoothie please." He then nodded with a smile and walked away. He's so sweet. And I'm so happy we're together almost a year now. I love him so much.
My thoughts were stopped by something hitting my back. I look at it abd it was a small beach ball. "I'm so sorry." Said a little voice. I turned around and saw a little boy. Maybe around five years old. "Don't be. It was an accident." I say to him with a smile. "Aren't you mad at me for hitting you with the ball?" He asked looking at the ground. "No. As I said, it was an accident." I take the ball and look at him. "Here. Go and play with your friends." I say while handing him his ball. "Thank you!" He said happy and ran to his friends. He was so cute.
Shawn's pov
I went to get two smoothies for me and Mia. She seems so happy right now and her happiness makes me happy. When I see her smile my whole world becomes perfect.
I ordered the smoothes and waited. As I waited I looked at Mia. She was sitting there and watching the sea. Such a beautiful view. "Two smoothies!" I heard the waitress say and then grabed them and walked back to Mia. I saw a little boy next to her talking. "Aren't you mad at me for hitting you with the ball?" "No. As I said, it was an accident." She then handed the ball to the boy. "Here. Go and play with yiur friends." "Thank you!" Said the boy and walked away. I then came closer to her. "Seems like the little boy likes you." I say smiling at her. "Oh? You're back. The boy accidentally hit me with the ball, but I gave it back to him so he can play." I gave her the smoothie and sat down. "It's always like that. Children just love you!" She then looked at me. "I don't know." "It's true. I know it." I say laughing and she joined in. She will be a giid mom one day. I know it.
We sat there just talking. But soon it was time to go home. But before we went home we watched the sunset. I didn't even relized how late it was. Well, when I'm with her time doesn't matter. After the sunset we went home. I went to the kitchen and made dinner. Mia helped me. We decided to make pizza. Simple and delicious.
After dinner we went upstairs to our room. I took off my shorts and laid down only in my boxers. And Mia had one of my t-shirts on. And laid besides me.
Mia's pov
I laid down next to Shawn. I leaned my head on his chest and he hugged me with his arm. In his arms I always feel so safe and comfortable. I listened to his hear again and smiled. "Why are you smiling now?" Shawn asked. "Nothing, just this all is so perfect. You are perfect. And I love you." "I love you too." He said and kissed me. He kissed me gentle and sweet. And that made me even happier than before. "Good night honey." Said Shawn. "Good night my love." I then closed my eyes. Sleeping in Shawn's arms was the best thing in the world. And I feel so safe with him.
That was the last thing I thought before falling asleep...
