Mia's pov
I woke up to the sound of my alarm. I open my eyes and look at Shawn doing the same. "Good morning." Said Shawn with his morning voice still sleepy. "Good morning." I say as I stretch. "Ugh. I hate Mondays." I say and stand up. But I'm pulled back in bed by two strog hands. "Shawn! We both have to go to work! You know? Music doesn't writes itself." I say laughing. "Don't worry about music. When you're here I could write thousands of songs only about you." He says smiling. "Awww. Cutie. But we still habe to go to work." I say and kiss him before getting out of bed. I then headed to the kitchen to make something for breakfast. I decided for eggs.
I bake them and when I finished I heard Shawn coming. "Breakfast done!" I say and he sat by the table to eat. "Thank you." He says smiling.
When we finished eating we changed into ather clothes and went to the cars. "Bye. See you after work." I say to him blowing a kiss and sat in my car. Before I could close the door I heard Shanw. "Wait!" I look up at him and as soon as I did I felt his lips on mime. "You can't just blow me a kiss whem a real one is WAY better." He said smirking. "You're right." I say and kiss him again. "Now go. Or We're going to be late." I said to him and closed the door. I then started the car and drove towards the hospital. I work there as a nurse.
The day at hospital went good. No one hurt or bleeding came in and I'm grateful for that. It's not a good feeling seeing people like that even tho I'm a nurse. I saw it many times and helped a lot of people.
When my shift was ove I said goodbye to my friends and went to my car. It was already 8pm. Today I worked the whole day cause another nurse was sick and I took her shift as well. I unlocked the car door and sat inside. I started tge car and couldn't be more happy I'm finally going home. On the way home I listen to misic. Music just .makes everything better. And it's even better that your boyfriend is a singer. You fall in love with him and his amazing voice. As I pull in my driveway I saw the lights on. So Shawn must be still awake. I park the car, grabbed my purse and headed inside.
"I'm home!" I said and heard Shawn in the kitchen but then walking towards me. "Hey babe. I missed you." He said and hugged me. "Missed you too." "While you worked all day I was really bored here alone. But because you're probably exhausted I have a suprise for you. Come. I made diner." "Awww. Thank yoi Shawn so much!" I kissed his cheek. He's so cute and caring. He gives me every day a reason more to love him. He took of my jacket and I sat on the chair. On the table we're already two plates. "Hope you like it." Shawn said as he put the food on the table. "I love it Shawn. And thank you for being so swet." "For you always." We thenstarted eating and Shawn is an excellent cook.
"This was delicious. You should cook every nigh." I say laughing. "Maybe I should." He then started laughing too.
We cleaned up and sat on the couch to watch some shows or films. When he turned the tv on there was a horror film. "No Shawn! You know I hate horror films!" "Come on. Just this one. And besides, You don't have to be scared cause I'm here." He had his puppy look. "Ugh. Fine. And I knlw you're doing thsis not because you want to watch a film, but because when I get scared you will hug me. Ans know how much you like it to hug me." I say smirking. "And I know hom much you like it when I hug you so let's just watch the film."
We started watching the film and I already regret it. There were screaming people all over the place running away from a killer. "Fuck!" I screamed and grabbed Shawn's hand. "It's only a film hun." He said calm. "For you maybe, but for me this scares the shit out of me." I said laughing. "Then I'm just going to hug and protect you the whole time." After he said that he hugged me. "That's better." I say. We continued watching the film, but I didn't really pay attention to it. I was watching Shawn. He wasn't scared of the film. I don't know how. I hate horror.
I also listenedto his heartbreak. It was normal. Not unsteady like mine while watching. It calmed me even more. "Aren't you watching the film?" Shawn asked. "Huh? No. Not really. I like it more to pay attention to you." I said smirking. "Awww. You're so cute."
We continued watching but I felt very sleepy. I was still tired from the day at work. So felt my eyes close while laying on Shawn's chest. "Hey. You wanna go to bed?" Shawn asked with a low voice. I slowly nodded my head. "Okay, let's go then." Shawn was carrying me to our bedroom and layed me on the bed. "Thank you." I said while yawning. "No problem love. I love carrying you." He layed next to me hugging me from behind and placing a kiss on my neck. "Goodnight love." "Goodnight Shawn."
