Field Trip (Jin)

You ran through the house excitedly searching for your dad, finally you found him in his study eagerly you presented him with a permission slip to go on the class trip to the zoo. On the top was where he was to sign to let you go and on the bottom was a volunteer form, you pointed to it with a huge smile on your face and stated, "I want you to go with me." Taking the paper and looking over it your father gave you a regretful look and said in a somber tone, "Sorry sweetie I have a huge business meeting that I can't miss, I promise to make it up to you when I can." You bowed your head and left the office making your way towards your room passing Jin along the way, he stopped you mid step by putting his arm out and pulling you back, in a concerned voice he asked what was wrong you showed him the paper and said, "I really wanted dad to go with me, but like always he's too busy." Tears stared to fall from your eyes as you said,"I really miss mom she never missed anything she was always around for us." Jin pulled you into a tight hug and reassured you everything was going to be alright.

~2 weeks later: day of trip~
Your dad dropped you off at the school, part of you was hoping he would surprise you by parking the car and going on the trip with you, but no he waved you goodbye and sped out of the parking lot. Dragging your feet you made your way towards the bus checking in with your teacher at the door she check marked your name and assigned you your seat. As you got on the bus you noticed a familiar face, "Jin Oppa you're here!" You ran over to him and gave him a tight hug, he smiled and wrapped his arms around you whispering, "I know I'm no mom but I'll always be here to take care of you I promise."
