Since you were little you've been having really bad nightmares and were terrified of the dark as a result you would usually sleep with your mom but she was going on a business trip overseas for 3 weeks. To get you used to sleeping without her she would force you to stay in your room until morning. Namjoon, knowing you wouldn't be able to sleep went through all of his stuff from when he was younger just to find his favorite teddy from when he was little. By time he found it it was already past your bedtime so he tiptoed to your room and quietly opened the door peeking in to see you buried under your covers. He knocked on the door lightly to let you know he was there, your head popped out of the top in freight, once you realized it was just him you sat up so he could sit. He had the teddy bear in one hand behind his back and the other pressed to his lips as a way of telling you to stay quiet, slowly he brought the teddy in front of your face and said, "This is Jerry, he will protect you from all the monsters hiding in the dark." You took Jerry from him and kissed Namjoons cheek you then laid back down under the covers. Not long after he had left you fell soundly asleep.
