Being the youngest sibling sucks. Don't get me wrong it has its perks like you could blame stuff on your brothers and while you have a curfew your parents rarely ever made you stick to it (which really ticked your brothers off) but none of that compared to your parents constantly skipping everything that was important to you: teacher conferences, school/ sports events, but the one that hurt the most was when they didn't bother to show up to the schools art show where your best work would be featured. You had been asking them all week to come and their response was either "we'll see" or "not now Y/n I'm busy". As the show got closer you began mentioning it to your brothers instead thinking that maybe one of them would come. The night finally came and to no ones surprise neither of your parents came and you were beginning to lose hope that your brothers would come to your rescue, looking around you could see all your friends being praised for their hard work by their parents, grandparents and siblings. Your chest began to feel heavy, just as you were about to walk away to join a few other people you heard the all too familiar sound of your brothers yelling and laughing before you could even turn to them you were pulled into a large group hug. They looked around at your display in awe muttering things like: "wow you did that?" and "I had no idea you were this talented". The weight that was once on your chest lifted and you felt happy knowing how proud they were of you.
