Q1: In Chapter Two, it’s revealed that Brady and Sabine are “Irish twins” born less than a year apart. Yet, they are very different. How does the fact that Sabine was outgoing and Brady is an introvert change the balance of the family now that Sabine is gone.
Q2: In Chapter One, Brady first ponders the connection between Sabine’s “soul” and messages that are never heard. As the book continues, Brady becomes increasingly soothed by her sister’s voice on her voicemail greeting. Do you think it’s harder or easier to grieve a loved one in an age where we have so much access to photos and messages from the person’s life?
Q3: Did you get all the way to the end of Chapter Five? *SPOILER* Why do you think that Brady went to Connor’s house when her car got stuck, and what do you think will happen when Brady discovers Connor peering into the window of the car?
