Jungkook's P.O.V.:

Beep beep beep

I groaned as I turned off my alarm clock. What time is it? 6:15 am. I sat up in bed as I rubbed my head. We had to go to a photo shoot at around 11 in the morning and then we were free in the afternoon.

I quickly showered and dressed and then went downstairs. I went to the kitchen to find Jin making noodles for breakfast.

"Good morning hyung," I yawned.

"Good morning Mr. JK," he replied.

I shuffled towards the fridge as I took out milk. As I was pouring the milk into my cup, Jin asked, " I was thinking about going to the zoo later. What do you think?"

"Seems like a good idea. Why not?" I answered.

Then slowly one by one the other members came shuffling towards the kitchen mumbling good morning.

Eventually the noodles were ready and we ate in silence.

"What do you want to do after the photo shoot?" Jimin asked.

"Jin suggested the zoo, what do you think?" I said

"I'm fine with it as long as it's not Jeonji. Maybe Everland? I know is not that busy today."

After murmur of agreements we all decided to go to Everland Zoo.

As usual the photo shoot was super boring, but went by in a flash (did anyone get the joke?). We put our masks on during the car ride but took them off when we got there. Of course a few people noticed us but we weren't really bothered.

Even though we've probably lost count of how many times we've been to the zoo, every time I go here, it's like reliving the first time I went. It never ceases to amaze me. The animals are incredible and beautiful. I always remember that when I was younger I would stare at them forever. Until my parents would drag me away.

My parents. How long has it been? My thoughts were interrupted when I heard someone in the crowd go, "She's crazy!"

We push our way through the crowd, where I see someone inside with the tiger. I see the back of a familiar head. My eyes widen as I realize who's in the cage with it.

Ariya

I pushed my way to the front of the crowd, completely forgetting about my hyungs.

In this zoo, in certain exhibits, you can go in the cage and pet the animal. A lot people talk about it, but few actually do it.

I saw her slowly reach out her hand to the tiger. For a full minute there was complete silence. Then, amazingly, the tiger bent down, waiting for Ariya to pet her. Then she laughed, and I saw a tear fall. Maybe from happiness she finally got to pet it. Maybe from relief that she's still alive. Maybe both.

"Congratulations, Ariya" I said to her when she came out. She was wearing I tight black t shirt with a flannel jacket tied to her waist. The top half of her hair was put in two buns, showing her face clearly. (An example of how it looks is in the top) She blushed as she answered,

"Oh, th-thanks,"

I grinned at her, "Ya know, I've lived here my whole life and never have I had the courage to do it." I thought about something and decided to ask it, " What made you do it?"

She was silent for a few seconds before she answered. "Actually I don't know," she started slowly, "I think it's because I-".

She was cut off since she was shoved to the side. The girl who pushed her was now standing in front of me. She had straight black hair with curly bangs up to her nose. She was wearing a floral dress that ended mid-thigh. She was pretty. And maybe I would've liked to talk to her if she didn't just push Ariya out of the way.

"Hi," she said breathlessly, "my name is Rika. I love you and BTS so so much! And to be honest with you, I think you're super cute!"

I forced out a fake laugh as I looked around looking for Ariya.

She was nowhere to be seen.

Ariya POV:

As soon as I was getting comfortable talking with Kookie, Rika pushed me out of the way. Perfect. Rika. I was beginning college when I was in America, but here in Korea, things are different, so I'm in my last year of high school. ( I know that probably isn't the case in reality, but bare with me here, so I guess this is an au where first year of college is the last year of high school in Korea). Since I'm a foreigner, Rika and her cronies just love to pick on me.

So when I saw it was her that pushed me, you better believe I dasi run run ran the hell out of there. I didn't stop running until I reached my car, (yes I can drive here) and got inside, and started it. I sighed as I drove home. I knew I was going to pay for it tomorrow at school, but decided to ignore it for now.

For now I just needed to talk to Emily, my best friend. She was also a foreigner, but she was from Thailand, not America. Since we were both awkward transfers, we became friends.

I finally arrive at my apartment. I picked it so it's not that far away from my high school. It wasn't an old ugly apartment, but at the same time it wasn't a five star apartment either. I fished out my keys from my purse and opened the door. I took a deep breathe as I entered my apartment, relieved to be back at such a familiar place. I was living with my aunt and uncle, when I decided it was probably time to live at my own place. But don't worry, I still visit them. I begin to pick up my phone to call Emily, but stop. I'll just tell her everything tomorrow at school. Right now, I need food and sleep. ASAP.
