Lina POV
I took Prince and Seoul out for a walk early with Aden. We came back and he dropped me off in front of the gate. It's his last day and he came to see me before he leave for Singapore. He sent Irene first due to his work and my work together. Aden and I had to finish our blog for the night so we video chat until late at night, video calling.
"How long are you going there for?"
"9 days or maybe I'll come back within a week." Aden pulled my two ears. "You have to look after yourself."
"Stop pulling on my ears. They going to fall off one day."
The more I complained, the more force he puts on them. "You won't see my face for a week. The least you can do is let me make fun of you."
"That's twisted logic." I pushed his shoulder and followed by biting his ear.
"aahhhh" He scream in pain. "Lina.. your boyfriend Hongbin won't be happy having three puppy in his house."
"Aden.." He just called me puppy.
"You know you will always be my puppy. Morning..." Aden waved his hand to me or so I initially thought he did. I turned around and saw a slightly grumpy looking Hongbin wearing his white shirt and khaki. When I looked down, he wore his house black slipper.
"Oh, have a good day at work." Guessing he will be leaving for his day of work soon, I waved him goodbye and tried to sneak pass him when Hongbin stopped my track abruptly by grabbing my hand.
"One." His cold icy glare was back.
"One? What is one?"
"Strike one."
"Lina, I will see you when I get back." Aden left like a wave of the ocean but not before he kissed my cheek.
"I'm leaving for work. Give me a kiss?" Hongbin asked cutely blinking his eyes in a way that made my heart fluttered.
"Goodbye Hongbin." I waved like Aden did a moment ago.
"I will take it by force then." Hongbin stopped me from walking back inside the house by grabbing my wrist and spun my body around,
"Hongbin..." I exclaimed.
"Fine. Meet me for lunch at the office today." He let me go abruptly.
I thought he was being nice but I was wrong.
"See you later my Lina."
I turned my back to him shyly. How can I be truly upset with him if he keeps making my heart flutters like he did. "It's not fair." I huffed and walked upstairs case passed Mr. Shi.
Hongbin hasn't seen Piko in two years. I bet he would be excited if I told him, Piko will be staying with us for two weeks.
Soon, I arrived at the office. I head straight for the front desk which I was greeted by the worker warmly.
"The president is busy at the moment, please come back at two o'clock," the receptionist spoke softly.
"Miss Lina"
I turned around to meet GongKi, Hongbin secretary. He's handsome and young. He is only a year younger than Hongbin. Leo poppa had him before and transferred him here with Hongbin in hoping he would be a great access to Hongbin.
"GongKi,"
"The president is waiting for you," he showed me the way to the elevator.
The other employees immediately bowed as we made our way passed them.
"How do you like it here?" I asked. He was working with Leo oppa in HongKong before.
"Beautiful city and beautiful women." He flashed his playboy look at me. GongKi, the lady killer. When he was with Leo oppa, oppa used to teased me every time I look at GongKi.
"I told you so." We chuckled a little to the door. He knocked and we entered.
"Hi,"
"Good timing. I'm starving."
"Please have some, I made plenty."
"Rice ball?" Hongbin his head sideway at the lunch box I gave him.
I shook my head with a grin. "Sandwich," I made it with a help from Mr. Shi.
"Avocado and egg sandwich" Hongbin smiled from ear to ear. "Made with love!"
I wanted to shut all the doors and windows in this office because GongKi was in the room.
"Meeting is at 2. I will go out for lunch with Secretary Yun," GongKi bowed with a sly grin.
Alone in his office, I sat myself across from his chair in front of Hongbin who still looking at the lunch box I made. The sight of seeing him happy made me happy.
"Who is Secretary Yun?"
"A guy his age, working for the old man next door."
"Hongbin, you can't address uncle that way." I hushed his lips with my finger.
"Since when are you related to that guy?"
"We're not related by blood but he is older than us so I called him uncle." He is still as rude as ever. I thought he has changed, but only his face changed. He is handsome by the second.
"Why are you blushing when I haven't said anything to make you embarrass yet?" He opened the box while he kept his eyes on me.
I shook my head and direct my attention to his long skinny hands. "Go ahead."
"Feed me." He sat back against the rolling chair. "What?" He got up from his seat and walked slowly to my side with his hands in his pocket.
He's so handsome that I forgot I stared at him like a flounder. He got me again. My heart flutters like a swarm of butterflies.
He bend over with his face right before my eyes. "Feed me with your hand or feed me with your mouth, your choice Lina."
Oh no! Something is tinkling in my nose. "Achooo..."
"Are you sick?" I was sure Hongbin would scold me for sneezing at a time like this, but he didn't. Instead, Hongbin got a handkerchief from his pocket and gave it to me. "Let see.." He then place his palm on my forehead. "You're hot."
"Hongbinssi, can I go?"
"No!!" He answered right away without waiting for further explanation form me. "After lunch, you have to go pick up some documents and coffee for me."
"Audi?" I asked raising my eyebrows at him.
"Myeongdong and be back by three."
