jeongguk stretches his legs out lazily, bumping the front of his feet against the metal legs of the chair softly, causing the chair to move which catches a few students' attention, who are sitting around him. males, being males glare at the male for disturbing their studies (and possibly their love lives too) while the girls simply shoot him a smile, indicating that it didn't bother them, not even for a second.

yet the male didn't bother sparing them any glance, as he leans back against the seat of his chair, glancing at his scribbled notes laid out nicely before him on the table. being a senior in his high school, and preparing for the college entrance exams, the male has been spending quite a large portion of his time studying for his core subjects, while hoping he can pass the exams.

this is pointless, he sighs softly, shaking his head as he runs his fingers across the front of his hair before throwing his head back, hoping to clear his mind a little so that he can take in or comprehend the notes.

genius isn't exactly the word the male will describe himself when it comes to studies. he prefers the word 'hardworking' because for sure, he is the type of student, who will put in the good amount of effort into his studies just to achieve good grades. but the male isn't blessed with high intelligence like some of his classmates, who are perfectly smart without even trying and the male envies them deep down.

he rather be smart without even trying, than to be handsome and only to be chased by students, especially females, every single day. even at the library, he can barely catch a breather with female students, ranging from junior high to even university, are surrounding him everywhere, watching him with their lovestruck expressions, that annoy the heck out of him.

jeongguk glances to the side, moving his neck muscles that seemed to be rather tight when he catches sight of a female student, in between two bookshelves that literally tower over her small figure. he tilts his head slightly with minimal expression, as he watches in silence at the student, who is stretching her hands out while standing on her toes.

even with her on toes, it doesn't seem to help her much as the distance between her fingers and the book that she wants says a lot, causing the male to chuckle softly in amusement. the boy appears to be cold and distant, but he does has a sense of humor especially when he's with his group of friends, which sadly, have all graduated.

he continues to watch with amusement, as the corners of his lips curl upwards slightly as the student begins to jump, making soft huffing sounds as she lands on her feet every single time. it is mean to laugh, but the male can't help but to be entertained by the cute sight before him. jeongguk bites on his lower lips, biting back a laughter as the student jumps again, almost reaching for the bottom of the book when she misses it again.

she's trying really hard, he points out, pushing his chair backwards as he stands up, causing the female students around him to straighten their posture, assuming that the male will be approaching them. jeongguk rolls his eyes at their actions, feeling even more irritated by their presence before tucking his hands into his front pockets of the school pants, and makes his way to the female student, who barely notices him.

the male stands behind her, wondering when she's going to ever sense his presence which is definitely impossible as she continues to jump to retrieve the book she wants. jeongguk silently takes a step forward, standing a few centimetres behind her while stretching his hand out easily and takes the book she wants, causing her to widen her eyes in surprise at the sight of another hand.
