Chapter 1. *Goodbye California*

 

 

So here I am.Standing in my room packing my suitcase,getting ready to head off to UK.My flight is in 4 hours.I'm kind of upset.Kind of?!No,I'm really upset,especially with my dad!I know what his job is and I know he can't get out of it but it's actually his fault!Drug dealer?How did he get in this mess?!Now I have to go for my safety.Leaving my boyfriend Justin and my friends.I have to go from the warm California to the cold UK!I heard knocking on my door.My dad came in .

D:hey bud'

I was quiet.I didn't want to talk to him.I didn't want to talk to anyone right now.

D:listen to me,hun'..

A:I DON'T WANT TO TALK TO YOU,OKAY??!JUST GO AWAY,YOU'VE DONE ENOUGH ALREADY!

I jelled.I saw pain in his eyes.

D:I just wanted to tell you-I'm sorry and I love you.You are still my little girl and you will always be,no matter what.

I just turned around so I wasn't facing him anymore.He left:I started crying.In fact;i wanted to talk to him;I just couldn't.I was mad,hurt,broken,all of my feelings got mixed up.

It was time to go.I came downstairs and told my dad to took me to the airpoirt.The drive was awful.I was quiet and so was dad.I know he is sorry;I see it in his eyes.But I can't deal with him right now,I'm tired of everything.We finally came to the airpoirt,I took my stuff and just turned my back,I was about to walk in to the plane but my dad grabbed my wrist.

D:Look hun',I really am sorry about everything.I know my job is dangerous and you know I would do anything to protect my litle girl.You know that this is for the best and mom misses you.You know that.I love you.

After what he said I hugged him tightly and whispered.

A:I love you too,dad.I will miss you..

I turned my back and walked away thinking ''this is going to be a loooong flight.''
