" let's gooooo!!! " elton yells from the living room. all the roommates were going to do an overnight challenge at an abandoned mall together for a tfil video. though most of them didn't really agree to it, elton somehow managed to drag all of them to come along with him.

" we're gonna die! " colby whines as he slammed his back onto sam's bed.

sam chuckles at the younger as he throws a black mask to him, colby catches it and stuffed it in his back pocket.

" goddeeeem! " colby shouts aloud and dabbed enthusiasticly.

" jesus colby, are you high? " sam laughs softly as he pretends to facepalm himself.

the two were interrupted by elton shouting for them to get downstairs again.

the duo quickly skipped down the stairs with backpacks that were filled with supplies for the night upon hearing elton's complain

" what were you guys doing, fucking? " elton jokes, earning a light punch on his shoulder by sam, who found himself turning red, but luckily, no one noticed.

the group quickly hopped into elton's car, with elton seated on the driver's seat and aaron beside him while corey, devyn, sam and colby squeezed together in the second row. devyn sat on corey's lap so the other two could fit into the car.

" wake up love birds! " corey yells at sam and colby who were snuggled together on their seat, fast asleep.

sam stirs slowly and feels a head leaning against his shoulder, he turns his head and finds colby resting his head on his shoulder, his arms wrapped around the older.

sam blushes slightly and pokes the younger's cheeks causing him to wake up, just in time too as elton pulls his car over at the empty parking spot.

everyone gathered their belongings and elton whipped out his camera before starting to film.

" alright guys, what are we doing today? " he positions the camera on top of the car, facing it at the group of friends.

" we're about to go explore an abandoned mall! " corey introduces and shakes his head, already regretting his decision to come along on this trip.

" not just explore corey, we're staying there overnight. " aaron corrects the latter who responds by mouthing the word 'oh' and chuckled at himself.

" this is a bad idea elton! " colby groans as he rests his head on sam's shoulder.

" whatever, let's go find the entrance! " elton ignores the younger and reached out to grab his camera on the car's roof.

everyone finally made it into the building through a broken window they found.

they explore for a little, occasionally hearing thuds and crashes in there but everyone would ignore it, they filmed so much exploration videos that these noises barely scared them, everyone except colby though who'd wince at every sound he'd hear, even the slightest drop of a pin would scare him, soon, the younger found himself gripped onto sam's arms tightly. for some reason, the presence of the older made colby feel safe, though it could just be because they knew one another the longest.

" you okay colbs? " sam mumbles as he rubs colby's shaky hands gently, hoping for him to calm down.

the younger's breathing gets softer as sam places his arms around the brumette's shoulders.

they carry on looking around the abandoned mall like this, with colby occasionally leaning against the older, who would give him a small smile, though in reality, he could feel his heart beating faster than usual

finally, the group of friends finds a spot on the second level to settle down at.

" are you tired? " sam asks colby while handing him a bottle of water.

" a little.. " colby responds as he let out a soft yawn.

" you can rest your head on my lap if you want. " sam mumbles, tapping his thighs lightly.

" we're so gay. " colby laughs lightly before laying his head on the older's lap and soon falling asleep.
