I woke up before yawning and stretching, I was so tired, what time did I stay up till? I looked at the alarm clock next to me, I was 38 minutes late for school. I grabbed my clothes, put them on and rushed outside the bedroom door and to my surprise Erwin was still in the apartment....and he was making breakfast. He looked at me confused, "Levi, dont you remember? It's the weekend." He chuckled. Ugh, I completely forgot, I felt like such an idiot. I stormed back into the bedroom and put some casual clothes on then walked back outside, "So, mind explaining me why that lady was here." I asked, flopping down onto the living room couch. "Oh, thats just a.....friend of mine, we were just talking about personal stuff. You would find it boring anyway, it was noth-" before he could finish his sentence i heard the doorbell ring. Erwin sighed before heading over to the door and opening it. To my suprise, Clarity was standing there. "H-hi Mr.Smith! I was wondering if i would be able to see Levi?" She stated, erwin turned around and gave a slight glare. I wasn't meant to tell anyone his address but i trusted Clarity though, Erwin didn't look to pleased though. "Oh, of course...come in." His glare changed into a warm smile. Clarity entered and walked over to me, she had three books in her hand some...pictures? I shook my head, "what are you doing here?" I groaned in annoyance. "I want to show you something, my father hes a dectective and he told me about this really cool and interesting stuff yesterday. I thought it was cool enough that even you would be interested in it?" She said with a big grin on her face. Well, i had nothing else better to do and i didnt really want to hang around erwin, i could tell he wasnt in a good mood. So i nodded and walked out with her, taking my breakfast with me. We headed up to the roof garden at the top of the apartments. We sat down on the cold concrete floor and she opened one of her books, "So, remember how we had that discussion about how vampires and werewolves were real?" She looked at me, in a creepy matter. "Not this shit again, that was months ago, they arent real they're just fairy tale creatures." I confirmed, she shook her head, "thats where you're wrong! They are real! My dad showed me some pictures and books about them, he even came across a werewomf. He said they look like a very hairy human with wolf like features." She stated, showing me the pictures that i was clearly not interested in. "Anyway, whats the whole point?" I glared, i was tired and i didnt need this right now. I get we all have imagination but jesus christ. "Well, there's been some recorded deaths near town and my father says it wasnt by a human, an animal but theres no bears or anything around here that could do the damage that the animal did to those people. There was a witness who reported to my father about a week ago, he was found dead three days ago and his death had signs that it was done by this animal. My dads the only one that thinks its a werewolf because theres so many clues leading to that. All i'm saying is just...be careful, okay?" I nodded in reply, "yeah, alright..i'll report to you if i get any puppies attacking me." I chuckled. I turned to look at her but she was already staring, she sounded serious, but at the same time theres no way such a creature can be real. I just rolled my eyes, "fine...whatever you say" i grumbled, leaving her and walking back down to erwins apartment. I opened the door to be met with erwin, he was standing right at the door, with his arms crossed, he must've heard me coming. I tried to avoid talking to him by walking past him but he stopped me in my tracks, "Alright, i'm sorry...but you can trust her okay?" I stated before looking up at him, he was still glaring. I sighed and gave him and peck on the lips, "I havent told anyone else, i promise." I was hoping at least that would work and it did, he let out a smile and kisses my forehead, "i'm not mad, i just would've like to know that she knows, okay?" He said, patting my head then returning to make his breakfast. "So, what was that all about?" He questioned. I smirked before saying, "oh, its kind of personal and it would be boring anyway." He laughed, before caressing my cheek. "Well, it actually was nothing really, just Clarity and her weird talks about some fictional creatures, she says they're real but..pfft..yeah i'll believe that once i see one. Which will be never because they arent real." I muttered the last sentence, i turned to look up at his face which was suddenly full of worry, "whats wrong? Dont tell me you believe in that shit too." I groaned. He sighed and nodded, "well, shes actually right, they are real. Werewolves that is, I'm not sure about other creatures though. I've.......seen one before and they arent the prettiest of creatures. But i do pity them sometimes, maybe they dont want to be such a creature like that. I cant really say much about it but just watch out for your friend." He said, I rolled my eyes once again, "alright, I will...but like I said i'm not believing it till I see one for myself." I confirmed. I heard him mumbled something under his breath before starting to gulp down his breakfast. "Woah, slow down... we're not catching a train." I took away his breakfast. "We need to go after your friend and find her, before tonight." He replied, i was confused but didnt bothering questioning him. "Well she said she's going into town today to by some flowers for her mother, probably went to the same flower shop she told me about." I looked up to see he was already out the door, i ran like lightning after him, he didnt even lock the door. Then we both ran to the car, he sat in the drivers seat and I sat in the passengers seat as usual. The car let out a little screech for before driving off.
It was about... 12:30pm and we were still looking for her, we couldnt find her at the flower shop, nor her house. Erwin looked really worried, I didnt understand why though, I felt like maybe me bringing up the werewolf thing might be why.
I let out a sigh, erwin was still driving around, but he suddenly stopped. I looked in the direction he was staring at and it was clarity, she had been at yogurt land. Then i noticed she was talking to the same woman erwin had that "personal" talk with. "Can you go get clarity to get into the car? If that woman stops you, signal me over." He whispered and who was I to question him. I sighed once again before getting out of the car and running over to clarity, she turned around to face me. I could see the woman glaring at me from the corner of my eyes, "Hey...uh, could you come with me? I need some urgent help with buying something, for erwin." I nervously smiled, she raised her eyebrow before shaking her head. "Why would you want someone who believes in fairy tale creatures to help you?" She grumbled, I didnt have time for this, I grabbed her hand before running towards the car. But the woman somehow beat us? "Now, now...levi, you should be careful. You never know, one could be living with you." She smirked before patting my head, "see this woman knows what shes talking about." Clarity sniggered. I rolled my eyes before pushing the lady aside and shoving clarity in the back seat. I slammed the car door close, erwin drove off at the speed of light, the woman didnt follow thank god. "...if what you said is true then she could've been one, why would she even talk about that unless-" I paused before looking at Erwin, "she is one, isnt she? How come you've been fucking hanging with her if you knew?!" I yelled. "This isnt the place or time for this, I will discuss it will you when we get home." He declared. I slouched and let out a groan, "Yes.....Mr.Smith" I mumbled.
1:10pm
We all sat together, in a circle, on the living room couch. We were both staring at erwin who looked stressed. I rolled my eyes, before grabbing him by the collar, "starting talking for fucks sake, you knew she was one, why didnt you tell us and if you knew why hasnt she killed you?" I questioned. "Well...i wanted to protect you guys-" "Erwin, dont give me that bullsh-!" "I'm not! I'm not joking around Levi! Shes dangerous, I am the only person she trust with knowing so, anyone else that knows she kills!.......I've already said much more then wasnt meant to. You two need to stay near me all the time, got that?" I was honestly a little shocked by him yelling, but i just nodded. "Tonight, she may come to the house, whether shes in human or werewolf form, doesnt matter, leave her to me..." He stated, I sighed before rolling my eyes,"oh suuuure, like i'm going to let you be killed, sorry erwin but what exactly makes you so special that you can defeat her and not us?" I asked, "I cant say, just trust me on this one." He said, before giving my forehead a kiss. I looked down and muttered a "fine.." then turned my attention to Clarity, who was literally just staring. "Wait.. If she trust you with that secret then....thats means you're a werewolf as well! Only a werewolves can know who's a werewolf and whos not." She smirked. Erwin paused before shaking his head, "yes, usually but thats not the case this time." He confirmed. Which relieved me, last thing I need is to know I made love to a wolf or beast. Even though, it would have its perks- no...nope, dont go there. "Okay then, drink some normal milk then! Werewolves cant drink milk, they dont like the taste...so, if you cant drink it, I proves me right." She said, placing a glass of milk on the table. Without hesitation erwin gulped it down then let out a small smirk. It made me chuckle, finally for once clarity had been proved wrong. "Hm, alrighty, but I'm watching you." She glared, Erwin let out a small laugh. "You're saying that to your school teacher, doesn't that seem a bit...ironic?" He stated. "I guess so, anyway...whats for dinner? I'm starving I asked. "Hm, steak for tonight." He grinned, "Alright, that's good enough for me." I smirked.
(Authors Note: Alright, I will be honest, I have never been happy with how I've done my first
person stories they are really crappy (from my opinion), It's quite difficult actually, so I may change to third person just to make things easier for me and it may make things more interesting to read, maybe not. But either way I do want to try it out, I would've loved to have done third person with this chapter but the idea kinda came after I wrote it and it's one of the longest chapters I've done so that wasn't an option. So next chapter will be in third person IF I'm happy with how it turns out.
Also I apologise for any misspells or grammar issues. I always re-read my chapters at least 2-3 times but there can always be little things that can slip through. Thank you for understanding.)
