The First Encounter

  One evening a five year old girl named Violet, was playing quietly in her room, her parents were watching the soaps on the television. Violet had no encounters when it came to the unexplained until that evening alone, she thought she heard a voice call to her from her closet. It was to misty for her to hear it the first time so it repeated itself " Violet open the closet", you'd probably expect a five year old to run to their parents but Lynx wasn't a normal five year old, she is cursed with the power to speak and see the unexplained. Violet didn't hesitate on opening the closet, and once she did she saw what could have giving a child a scare, but surprisingly gave her a warmth instead. Violet saw her past grandfather right before her very eyes, she didn't quite know how to take it at first so she decided to talk to him.

Awhile goes by without Violet getting another encounter with her grandfather, but it doesn't keep her from trying to reach out to him. Violet opens her closet once more and says " Grandpa are you there? can you hear me?", That night Violet saw her Grandpa again he told her that he was sorry for taking so long, and that he is grateful for getting the opportunity to talk to her, but god wants him to go home now. Violet had tears fill her eyes when she knew it was time to say her goodbyes. Violet "Grandpa will I ever see you again?", she says. " When god needs you, I will see you again my dear", he says. Violet tries to hug him but he mists away into thin air, now she know she's something unique, and she couldn't be more grateful for the honor of talking to his spirit.
