I hope y'all like the picture of my doggo, Sonny! (Pronounced sunny, so you know.)

Shade's POV

"Another day home alone..." I said to myself. I finished writing one of my many (and by many I mean 3) stories on Wattpad, and my mom told me to get off my lazy butt, so here I am, laying on my bed, doing nothing.

Let's see: my mom is at work and won't get back until 6:00 pm, the boys of the family are gone hunting for the weekend (including the dog, he is a boy) and I'm stuck at home.

My options are to either practice piano, play on the Xbox, go for a walk, text my cousin, or go upstairs and eat something. I guess my stomach made the decision, because when I thought of food, my stomach growled.

"Food it is, then." I say to myself. I walk up the stairs, to the kitchen, and opened up the fridge. I didn't see anything that looked very appetizing, and I was eating too much grain, lately.

I closed the fridge, and opened the snack compartment of the fridge. there were sandwich meats, cheese, more cheese, and some fruits. "Might as well." I told myself.

"Let's see, Strawberries, no, too sweet. Raspberries, no, to seedy. Blackberries, no, too sour. Man oh man am I picky today!" I said to myself. I continued to look through the fruits and come up with an excuse to not eat it.

I'd gone through at least 7 or 8 different kinds before I finally decided on blueberries. I grabbed a bowl and put the blueberries in, along with a bit of sugar, brown sugar, butter, and nutmeg.

I put it into the microwave for about 5 minutes or so, until the blueberries were soft. "Perfect." I said to myself. I sat on the couch, and turned on the TV. I was going to take the first bite of my blueberries, until I heard something.

It sounded weird, like a portal opening. 'Portal. Wait a diddly darn second. Portal? Since when does a portal open in the real, unfair, world?' I thought to myself. Next thing I know, is that there is a scream, and two very heavy objects fall on top of me.

"Ow..." I mumbled. I tried shifting, but I was officially stuck. "Um, excuse me, but I would like to get up now please. Not that I don't like getting crushed, or anything." I told them. They started shuffling, and I felt the weight lift off of me.

"Oh my goodness! I-I'm so sorry!" Someone said behind me. I brushed myself off, turned around, and my eyes widened at the sight.

"Okay, what did you two do this time?" I asked them. It was none other than my two good friends Blueberry and Dream. "Nothing, hum-I mean Shade! He just dropped us off here, then left!" Blueberry told me. I sighed.

"Well, it looks like you two are staying with me until Ink comes back." I told them. Sure, I am technically younger than them, by a lot, but this is my house, so it's my rules. Just before I could say anything else, Dream tapped my shoulder.

"Um, are those yours?" He asked me, pointing to the floor. I looked down, and I could hear my heart break. My blueberries, my PERFECT blueberries were all. Over. The. Floor. "NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU! MY BLUEBERRIES! THEY DIDN'T DESERVE TO DIE THIS WAY!" I yelled, while on my knees, acting like it was the end of the world.

I ended up crying, while Blueberry had my back, giving me a hug, and Dream just patting my back, saying, "There there, they are in a better place now." .

"Not as good as my starving stomach." I grumbled. Blueberry sprung up. "FEAR NOT, HUMAN SHADE! FOR I, THE MAGNIFICENT SANS, WILL MAKE YOU SOMETHING EVEN BETTER!" He yelled, with me countering the yelling. "NO YELLING IN THE HOUSE!" I countered.

"SORRY!" he yelled back. "WHY ARE WE YELLING?!" Dream added in, yelling like us. "I DON'T KNOW!" I finished of. There was a silence, and we all ended up bursting out in laughter. They always have fun whenever I'm around, or when I'm taking care of them, once again, even though I'm younger.

"Okay. what are we having, because the pasta-bilities are endless!" I said, trying not to laugh. Dream chuckled, and Blueberry looked like he was about to explode. "Please, no puns." He said, trying to control his temper.

"Well, Blue, its only a matter of thyme before another pun is made!"Dream added. I giggled, and I think it'll take one more for him to blow. "P-please, stop it." Blue said. I smirked.

"Fine, we'll taco 'bout it later!!!" Me and Dream told him, trying to tick him off, which we did. "THAT'S IT!" He yelled, and without another word, he tackled me onto the couch, with Dream laughing in the background.

Blueberry and I began to fight on the couch, with Dream watching and laughing. It lasted about 3 more minutes, because my stomach growled. Blueberry screamed in fear, and ran behind Dream in fear.

"looks like I forgot to feed the beast." I said. I got up, and walked to the fridge to get something to satisfy my hunger. I opened the snack department, and got out a kiwi. I then waked over to the cupboard, and got out a chopping board.

Blueberry watched me do my thing in complete awe, while Dream was trying to hold him back from helping me in the kitchen. I got out a knife, and cut and peeled the kiwi. Once it was all peeled and cut, I began to eat my snack.

Once it was gone, I grabbed my dished, and put them into the sink. I walked back over, and kind of freaked out. Dream and Blueberry were fighting SC. "WHAT IN THE NAME OF ASGORE IS GOING ON HERE?!" I yelled, making them freeze with fear.

'Looks like SC is back from work.' I thought. SC walked over to me, and bent down to meet my eye level. And yes, he is taller than me. "Who are they again?" he asked me. I sighed in defeat, and walked to Dream and Blueberry. "SC, meet Blueberry and Dream. Blue and Dream, meet SC." I introduced.

They waved to each other, and I sighed again. "Well, now that you all know each other, I'm going to go and practice piano." I told them, and walked downstairs, with all three of them following behind.

'This is going to be a loooooooooooooong three days.' I thought.

''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''

Well everyone, so sorry about not updating in a while. Since school started, I've had a ton of studying, homework, and projects due. And since my mom wants me to have good grades, I've recently been putting all school work in front of anything else. Not only that, but my dad is my Math teacher too, and he expects me to get an A in that class too. So, if I don't update a bunch anymore, there is your reason. I really hope that you can understand. That, and this book is almost done, too, and I have 2 other books that need my attention. Don't worry, after my Quarter 1 is done, I will definitely update more. So, until next time, my shadowlings!

Bye-bye!
