Dream's POV

I was sitting down, reading my favorite book. I was at the last chapter of the last book, and I couldn't wait to start the next one when it came out! I was just about to read the final chapter when I heard a loud bang. It sounded like it was that far away, and my curiosity took over my body and so I decided to check it out.

I got to the ruins, and saw a figure in a building, crying. When I got closer, I realized that it was me, but wasn't? Gah! I was sooo confused! I accidentally stepped on a twig, and the me saw me and stood up, wiping the tears away from his eye sockets.
"Umm, can I help you mist-" the me raced up and hugged me, starting to cry again.
"Thank God you're okay!" the me said. "Oh! By the way, you can call me ink! I am the creator of the alternate universes of your world." Ink said, smiling with pride.
"O-oh! Umm, you can call me dream." I replied, still confused as ever.
"Nice to meet you dream! Umm, would you mind telling me where I am?" Ink asked me, face shining brightly.
"Oh! You are in dreamtale! Um, I'm confused. Would you mind telling me why you're here?" I said, looking even more confused than burgerpants when he was hired.
"Oh, it's a long story. But basically I fought with a dude named error and he threw me into this world." He told me. I was still confused, but I kind of understood.
"That helps. Would you like something to eat? I have a bunch of food back at my place! Mostly fruits, but that could do, right?" I asked him. He looked hungry.
"Yeah!  Actually, I need to find a way to get back. So afterwards, I'll need to leave you." Ink said. I felt kinda disappointed, but I'd probably do the same if it were me.
"Understood. Come on! There is a beautiful pathway down here. It leads right to my place! That is how I got here." I said. He nodded, and we walked back to my place, mainly talking on our way there.

Out of nowhere, a black figure zoomed in front of us, knocking out Ink. Then, it did the exact same thing to me, and before I knew it, I was out like a light.
