Shade's POV

I managed to make it downstairs with all of the gibberish that was going on behind me. I tried to get them to stop, but then and again, you never know when Carrot may be around. (If you don't know who Carrot is, its Underswap Papyrus.)

I finally made it to the piano, and sat down. I played my warm up, and the three skeletons were already wowed by it. I then started playing my first song, which was Let it go, because why not.

After I finished playing, I got an applause from my companions. I laughed, and moved on to another song that I've been working on. Megalovania.

Another applause from my skeletal crowd. I cracked my fingers, which made them all cringe, but I had to. My fingers would be cramped and wouldn't be able to move as fast.

(That's actually true. Always crack your fingers before you play piano. It helps to move your fingers faster. That's why I do it all the time! *Does proud face*. But seriously, for all of you piano players, do it. It makes life easier.)

Any who, I got ready for my final and most difficult song: MegaLoVania FANDOM MEDLEY! Again, awesome song!

They all clapped and cheered for what I could do. I laughed at their reaction. I mean, I know that SC is my BF and all, but he's recently been so busy with work that I haven't been able to play for him.

"Human!!! That was amazing!" Blueberry told me. I giggled.

"Aww thanks! I just Ink could hear it. I mean, after all, he's been dying to hear me play." I told them.

"Speaking of which, you should probably update the story now. I mean, I know you don't want it to progress, Shade, or end yet, but I think it's time." SC told me.

"WHAT?! No! Not yet! I'm not ready yet!" I yelled, tears threatening to fall.

"Hey, it's okay! We can still hang out, and you can always come back to this story! It will always be open for anything!" Dream told me in a comforting way.

"And maybe we can do a Q&A too! You don't need to worry about it! We will always be with you!" Blue said with pride.

"Look, sweetheart, I know you want this story to keep going, but sooner or later..." SC said, putting his forehead to mine.

"We'll... We'll leave you two alone for a while." Dream said to us, pulling Blue upstairs, leaving me and SC.

"SC..." I started.

"Yeah?"

"You know how much I care for them, right?"

"Yeah, I care about them too, but not as much as I care for you and your health."

"SC, I already told you that I feel fine."

"Shade, you're stressed. Face the facts, you have to update 3 stories, and you try so hard to get them out on time. Not to mention you have school now too, and piano, and band, and 2 extremely annoying boys in your class."

"Okay! Fine! You win! I am stressed."

"So will you finish this story?"

"Yeah... I'm going to miss them so much!" I then start to cry.

"Hey, Shade, look at me." SC tells me, and lifts my chin so I look at him. "They will still be with you, like I am with you every single day."

"I know."

"Then why are you so sad? You know you can still visit them, right?"

"I just don't want to say good-bye yet!"

"I know. But you will be able to see them everyday. there's no need to cry, okay?" He asked me. I nodded, and he kissed me.

The kiss lasted for a few seconds, but he had to pull away for stupid oxygen.

"You better now?" He asked me.

"Y-yeah. I get to work on that chapter." I said, and walked to my room.

SC's POV

After she walked away, I went upstairs to the other me's. As soon as I stepped 1 foot into the living room, Dream ran to me, and started asking me questions.

"Is she okay? Where is she? What is she doing? *GASP* is she dead?!" He asked me. I sighed.

"She is fine, she's in her room, she's writing the next chapter, and she isn't dead." I replied.

We continued to talk about different things, such as what my job is, how to do my job, how life's going, and stuff like that.

Then, a portal opened up, and started to suck Dream and Blueberry up and towards it.

"Bye! Have a good trip!" I told them.

"Bye! Tell Shade that we'll come back!" Dream yelled back.

"Bye! I'll make sure Ink comes along next time!" Blue shouted. I chuckled, and waved to them before they were completely gone.

Once they were gone, I raced down to where Shade was, and checked up on her. She was asleep, surprisingly. I tucked her in, and climbed in, grabbing her waist as she dug her face into my chest.

"G'night Shade. Love ya." I told her.

"Good night Sans. I love you too." She replied. She really is the best girlfriend ever.
