chapter 3

Mutt's POV

some one was shaking me and I woke up it was my mom "Mutt wake up were here." said my mom I got up and stretched and fixed my hair then I got my bag I was our guy he was holding a sign that said jones family on it I tapped on my dad shoulder he  looked at me and I pointed to the guy we went over "are you the jones family?" he said "yes we are." said my dad then he took our stuff my dad  then told him about the book of secrets he nodded his head up and down and we went in a cab.

Indy's POV

we were sitting in the cab when he pointed a gun at us "every time." I mumbled then I punched him and I kicked the door open "come on!" I yelled "what about our bags?" said Marion then I unlocked the trunk and I got our suitcases and we ran to the sidewalk we caught our breath and we walked "so much for our cab." I said then we saw a hotel we went in "we made reservations party for three jones." I said then she got our key and we went to our room I looked outside "ooh honey they have a pool." said Marion "were just staying here for one night Marion." I said then I laid down and put my hat over my  eyes " he always does that." said Marion "hey its dad." said Mutt.

Marion's POV

we were in the room I  was reading a book dreaking some tea when there was a nock at our door I heard some voices they sounded Russian "Indy!" I yelled he woke up." "what what's wrong?" he said still half asleep "its the Russians." I told him "how did they know were here?" he said I shrugged my shoulders "right we need to jump." he said "what heck no." said Mutt "ras, Gigi,jonesa!" said on of them "I'm a restla." said another "were trapped!" I said.

Indy's POV

"were trapped!" I heard Marion say I thought of all the escapes in my head our door was out we would just run into those Russians the window? I looked we were really high up but the pool was right under us but there was a awning then I saw a phone line I looked at it, it would  half to do I got my revolver and my whip out of my bag and I opened the window "Marion Mutt come on." I yelled then they ran over to me "hang on."  I said I flicked my whip and with a snap we swung but the bad thing was the phone line was not sturdy enough and my whip unraveled and we fell  in the pool we landed in the deep end and we all came up for air there was a shocked pool cleaner "hey how's it going." I said we all swam to the edge I saw the Russians looking out the window "our passports!" said Marion "I got them." I said thank goodness they were waterproof and we got out we were soaking wet the pool cleaner was still shocked but continued with his work then we walked out "well I wanted to go to the pool but not like that." said Marion me and Mutt started laughing then I saw a familiar face it was my old friend Sallah he had a fez on "Indy what happened?" he said "we ran into a little trouble." I said looking back at the hotel we then got in I told him about the book and he said he has seen oxly "you saw the ox?" I said he nodded his head "where?" I asked him  there  was a car behind us and he shot at us "our buddy's."  I mumbled "you two get down!" I yelled at Marion and Mutt "sallah get out of the way I'm driving!" I said then I stepped on the gas "Indy!" said Marion "right short cut." I said then we went into some trees "dad look out!" said Mutt then we ran into a tree "oops." I said then we got out "sorry about that sallah." I said "ah don't worry Indy he said "guess were walking the other half ." I said we started walking.
