I cannot apologize,
Underneath the heavy guilt,
I cannot plead,
Against the stricken agony,
I cannot be punished,
For what's not my fault,
Find the cracks,
That remains,
I will not let thee,
Cripple my mind,
Nor peel my skin,
Will this strife be woned,
Between my slipping grip and his broken body,
We'll stand it together,
Even if it's life or death,
We can't sink into despair,
With this grinding war floating above,
I'll swim a mile,
To make you smile,
Once it's won,
I'll be out of grievance,
Once we win,
I'll apologize for everything,
Renew my strength,
With the faith you hold,
Renew the love,
With our beating hearts,
I'll apologize to you, brother.
