The Conffession

Kaelani's P.O.V:

Me and Serena were waiting at the library. We arrived at 10:00 a.m so Gabriel was running a little late.

   When Gabriel finally came in I was trying so hard not to blush. He must've ridden his scooter here.

    The day before he said he would get a girlfriend.. I didn't know what he meant by that and also he wanted to go to the back of the library to talk.

    I was so confused and nervous. When he arrived we played a few chess games until it was 12:30.

    When we went outside the library he showed us how amazingly he locked his scooter on the bike rack.

    I couldn't stop laughing because of how big the bike lock was. Someone could steal his scooter by slipping it out! And that's exactly what we did.

    Me and Serena hijacked his scooter for a few minutes, then we put it back. He didn't care either way which was funny.

    We walked to the back, and Serena tried climbing a tree. When she got up.. she was scared to get down. Me and Gabriel couldn't stop laughing.

    When she finally got down, she wanted to tease us by saying "Go and confess already" or "Go ahead and just date"

    Each time she said those things it made it awkwarder and awkwarder.. but we shrugged it off every time.

    We finally were alone, under a tree.. sitting next to each other. I never really saw him this close... my face was blushing a bit.

    He inched closer to me which made my blush get brighter and brighter... my face was so red when he picked a flower and said "Will you be my girlfriend?"

    I looked away and covered my face.. I think he didn't notice that I murmured "fuck" under my breath. I was in mid-sentence of our conversation when he asked..

    I turned back at him and said"Y-yes" and I was stuttering... I thought it was a dream. I thought I would never get a chance.

    "Now we have to seal it." He said quietly. He then turned my face towards him and kissed me. I kissed back of course but my face was a tomato red.

    "Now we're official!" He said happily. For the rest of the day, he told stories and I got to know him more.

    It was time to leave.. and I was so sad because I wish I would've gotten to spend more time with him.. my boyfriend.

    My dad didn't know yet so I had to say goodbye behind the library. He pulled me close and kissed me.

    This will be a day I will remember forever. The day I met the love of my life... Gabriel Mendieta.
