Vice

Ilead Daren and Ricky deeper into my ornate mansion when I overhearDaren mutter to Rickie,
"I don't understand what the big dealis. People have been exposed to the fungus for decades right? So, itsalready implemented. What's the big deal if someone with just anaccelerated fungal virus is running around? Is he contagious orsomething? It's not like anyone can stop it's growth right?"
Ismashed his back against the wall before Daren knew what happened tohim.
"The bacteria isn't advanced enough to be globallydetrimental you fool," I seethe.

My spit sprinkles hisface when I yell into it,
"This is the work of the fathers ofour fathers. Generation after generation we have implemented M1-22Tinto every human we have come into contact with. Now I have to figureout a way to advance the progress further without killing its host. That hospital now has that organism. They will analyze it, learneverything they can about it then find a curefor it. Do you see the problem now Daren? Does that insignificantbrain of yours fathom what the word cure means? It means to restore,to fix, to relieve people from decades of our progress. That's whyit's such an issue you moron. Are there any more actions youwould consider impractical," I swiftly challenge.
One herapidly shook his head no, I brush his shoulders offcarelessly.
"Wonderful, Rickie give me a rundown of what you'vebeen up to."
His shallow gray eyes flit around the room as heanxiously searches for an open window. He wont find one.
"Wellsir, I was able to plant a bug into their main base computer, wherethe creator does most of his work. He's good, he easily spots it,squashes it. He lacks in security. He knows the basics, but notenough to stop us from re entering and boring deeper. We went backsoon after he removed us and planted ourselves somewhere secure andhopefully undetectable now under a new file name. Our theory is thatby the time he finds us, we will have plenty of information to go on.We can see every site he visits, every message he writes, and everyperson he comes into contact with. We also have a few profiles thathave infiltrated the website itself. So that means we have a few eyesthat can keep track of the conversations and get and some info ontheir personal lives. We have a few days before they will find outour profiles are new. The head has done his homework and the membersare skiddish. They know what to look for when it comes to counterfeitprofiles and they keep track of fresh members. We will be able to getquite a bit of information before we're found out, what they knowat the very least."
Rickie pulls whats left of his disgustinghat down and rubs his jittery hands together quickly.
"Can weidentify them? Find out their location?" I inquire.
"We'reworking on it. We just need the owner of the computer to fill out onesurvey, buy one product, just use their name once with their addressand we got them," he assures.
My hardened facial muscles fallinto a frown.
"So what you're saying is you have nothing. Youhave wasted my time and your breath with your worthless blabbering. Ihope you have a more enlightening report Daren."
I turn myattention to the other impeding simpleton.
"What of thesister?"
I imagine raking a dry razor across the clean shavenhead as he vigorously answers,
"The most recent report was thatthey are communicating as we speak. Janna will deliver theinformation on the correct location to meet as soon as we know it.We'll be waiting for Anna then."
"Excellent, excellent. That is good news," I clap.
"If luck is on our side we willhave her in our grasp by tomorrow evening."
"Very good work,Luke," I dismiss, "I'll contact you when I am ready to discussthis further."
