Chapter 2

Kayden's POV;

At the end of the working day, I just wanted to unwind and take a nice, warm bubble bath. 

I let my body seep into the relaxing, warm water. I grabbed my phone and played some relaxing music that I bought for these kind of special days. I sat in the tub for a minute when suddenly I heard my phone ring which meant that I got a text.

Ross: This IS Kayden right?..

I giggled at the text and instantly replied back.

Me: Yep! I mean, last time I checked.

Ross: I just wanted to make sure that this wasn't a PHONEY number. Get it, phoney?

Me: That was a really bad joke. Lol.

Ross: Then why are you 'lol'ing me?

Me: Idk, you're cute. Get used to it.

Ross: Ohh, so you think I'm cute?

Me: Sure...

Ross: What does that mean?

Me: That you're cute.. lol

Ross: Oh.. well, I know, I try. (;

Me: Yeah yeah, whatever. 

It took him a minute to reply so I patiently waited in the bathtub and heard Ariana Grande's new single 'Problem' turn on.

Ross: So, can I take you out to dinner tomorrow evening? 7 o'clock?

I stared at the text for a while. What should I say? I just met him and he already wants to go on the first date?

Me: Yeah, that'd be nice :) 7 o'clock. I'll text you my address tomorrow.

Ross: Great! I didn't think you'd say yes.

Me: Really? Why not?

Ross: Nevermind.. I'll text you tomorrow. Goodnight.

Me: Night..

What was that about? He didn't think I'd say yes? Oh well.

Ross' POV;

Kayden: Night..

Okay, I really didn't think she'd say yes to me asking her out on a date. She's way too gorgeous for me. And she's sweet, gentle, and kind.

I set my phone down on my other side of the bed that I don't sleep on and closed my eyes tightly. 

I knocked on the door lightly but loud enough so that Kayden could hear me. 

She opened the door and there stood her perfect self in a perfect dress fitting perfectly on her perfect body. She was perfect.

"Hey Ross," she smiled. "You look sexy." She winked and I felt myself blush.

I pulled her close to me and kissed her full on the lips.

"ROSS, WAKE UP!" 

I was so startled by the noise that I jumped out of my bed and curled up into a ball on the tile floor. 

"Ross?" I heard a familiar voice call out.

I looked up and saw Riker standing over me with a confused look on his face.

"What's up, bro?" I played it cool.

He just stood there and shook his head. "So," he crossed his arms. "Do you have any plans with Maia tonight? Because if you do, can I please tag along? I know Maia loves me as a brother so-"

"Maia and I aren't together anymore." I said harshly and then grabbed my phone to look on Twitter.

"Oh," He said slowly, stretching the O. "I'm sorry.. so, are you free tonight then?"

I looked at him then looked back at one tweet a fan sent me. I ignored his question because I couldn't let him know that I had a date with another girl only a day after Maia and I broke up.

"Bro?" He asked once more. Once he knew I wasn't going to answer, he exited the room as he mumbled something. 

I rolled my eyes and then looked back at the tweets.

I scrolled past some of them since most of them said 'I want your body'. How was I supposed to reply to those kind of tweets?

I scrolled more and more until something caught my eye. I scrolled back up to the tweet and say something that I didn't think I'd see for a long time.

A/N: There's chapter 2! It was kind of rushed because my mom thinks I'm working on a project for school. So I should probably go start working on that but thank you for all of your reads and support on this story so far!
