Alyona started to laugh when Froy's eyes bulged out at the sight of his Instagram notification. Her brother was now following him and he was in a panic mode.
"Don't laugh at me, Tatum." Froy spoke as he sent her a playful glare. "Usually I'd get so happy when a famous celebrity followed me, but this time, not so much."
"It's just my brother." She giggled, patting to the empty space next to her. "He's not going to lash out on you in public."
Froy sighed and plopped down his body next to her, nodding a bit. Perhaps it was a good sign that Channing had forgiven him for the little incident two weeks ago. He readjusted his position to take a good look at her, smiling in the process. "How are you?"
"You're just asking me now?"
He laughed. "You slept the whole time!"
"I'm good." Alyona replied after her laughter died down. "I didn't get a chance to meet someone else other than Tom for the past two weeks, not until now."
"You need to talk to them, Lona." He suggested, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. "They're your brother and best friends, you can't ignore them forever."
Alyona huffed out, closing her eyes for a mere second. "I just – I don't know, they promised to let me do what I wanted, but they were the one who broke it."
"They did it because they care about you. Honestly, if I were Channing, I'd do the exact same thing." He admitted. "A brother obviously doesn't want his sister to get hurt."
"I know," Alyona trailed off, biting her bottom lip. "Sometimes he protect me to the point I feel restrained."
"Appreciate your brother's efforts to protect you because, you see, not everyone can get the affection of a sibling." He spoke with a sincere tone. "Same goes to your friends."
Alyona pondered his words for a mere second. He's right, she could hear a voice in the back of her mind loud and clear. Alyona knew very well why Channing was so protective over her because he had been through this phase once, and he surely didn't want it to ruin his life ever again. But, what could she do? It wasn't like she had a lot of option to choose. In all honesty, Alyona never chose to be dying.
"Forgive them, okay? Especially your brother." Froy softly said. "Besides they are the most important people in your life, they'll not be around forever, Lon."
Or I'm the one who will not be around forever.
