I have watched her everyday
for such a long time
Her elegance is what sets me
in a frozen shock; a trance.
A soft skin of sweetness
Pure crystal sugar, a thin layer
As pale as freshly fallen snow
I gently graze a finger over it.
In a frantic state, I seemed to
have startled the poor girl
She appears so flustered,
I can't even apologize.
Her jet black curls bounce as she runs
I don't dare follow her
For I know she'll be back
I mean, she is my regular
She'll come back for coffee tomorrow
Until then, I'll miss Snow White.
