"Happy Anniversary Rikey."

I held his hand tight in mine as tears brimmed my eyes.

"I wish you could see how I decorated your room... I had to convince the doctors to let me." I smiled looking around satisfaction on my face.

There was italian food since its his favorite, there was also candles around the room. That one was hard to get the doctors convinced. I also placed some rose petals on his bed.

Yesterday I shaved his little beard and fixed his hair.

"You are the best thing that has ever happened to me, Ryk." I said and kissed his cheek then began to eat by myself as I talked to him.

When I was done, I grabbed my guitar.

"Riker please wake up." I whispered before kissing his cheek, then started strumming the guitar.
