Zuno-ryoku stood in the underpass where between the two alley ways where the investigators cars were parked, this was defiantly the location where they met. It was it of the way from the public yet easily accessible enough that it wouldn't be an idea place for something shady.

What would draw our four investigators out here in such a hurry that they'd abandon their posts? They didn't call for back up from other investigators, so they mustn't have ended up a long drawn out battle with a ghoul.

Zuno-ryoku had built up a timeline of the known events leading up to the disappearance to help him build up an idea of the phycology of the investigator, hopefully it would lead him to understand what had happened. Around twenty minutes after the beginning of lunch for the school children at the open day the investigator who was a father of one of the children rushes out of his office as fast as he could, the second investigator got up and jogged outside while at around the same the other two investigators begin to head toward the 20th ward.

All of the senior investigators were tried and tested veterans, why then, was the first investigator so panicked? The school was not far from here at all, it was certainly possible to walk from here to there in no time at all. Was it possible that the child had been scared of something and called his father, who then left in such panic he forgot to call his friends for help for a few minutes? If that was so then what scared that child? A ghoul perhaps?

If it was assumed that there was a ghoul involved then suddenly it made sense why they seemed to disappear her. After observing the ghoul dart into an alleyway the investigators preformed a standard sting operation, boxing off both alleys of escape before engaging. It would take a high level ghoul to take down four investigators, even if one was a junior. It would have sustained some injuries which mean it would have to heal, that meant it would need be a relatively healthy specimen.

Forensics hadn't found any blood due to rain fall, it had all been washed away somewhere. Zuno-ryoku inspected the underpass for any sign as to what happened, four adult male bodies had to go somewhere. There was a sewer drain next to the underpass that the others had somehow missed, it was more then possible that the blood had been washed down there. Taking an ultraviolet light from his coat pocket the Associate special class investigator shone his light down the drain, seeing how some of the light reflected there was still some trace of DNA.

Touka was blushing red furiously as she dressed in her school uniform while Ayato looked like he might commit murder, Shinsetsu infuriating insistence of what felt like hundreds of pictures for the first day of school was driving you mad. First she had to get a bunch of pictures of you, then of Touka, then of Ayato, then you and Touka, then Touka and Ayato, then you and Ayato and finally all three of you together.

It was more then a little annoying, having to consistently rearrange yourselves for the sake of a few photos that you doubted even Shinsetsu looked at all the often. But at the end of the day it made her happy and you supposed that was all that really mattered in the end.

Ayato would be going to the same school he went to on the opening day, while Touka would be accompanying you to your own school due to the age difference between the siblings. Since Touka was only a year younger then you and Ayato was three he was still a year out from going to the bigger school. Touka was visibly nervous at attending while Ayato seemed to be determined to distance himself from everyone, possibly in an attempt copy you.

"(Y/N)?" Touka asked shyly.

"You'll see my at lunch right?"

"Of course." You told her. Suddenly a stone came hurtling through the air to narrowly miss where you were standing, you gave a sigh of annoyance as you realised the usual idiots had come back.
