Alone in a burnt forest, a small cloaked girl crouched down by a tree. Around her the ground smouldered as if recently alight. The child had silver and gold hair, shorn short, that glistened in the dull light. Suddenly, hearing something she turned, her glowing teal eyes searching through the trees. She called out, "You can come out you know! I won't hurt you, I'm just a child too." A tuft of brown and neon green hair peeked out from the side of a tree trunk followed by a pair of ghostly white eyes. The girl quietly gasped in shock. "Can...can you see me?" The boy stepped out from behind the tree and smiled crookedly. "Hmm, well I can see a tiny little baby with weird metal looking hair in a dark cloak several sizes too big...so I think I can see you," he responded. The girl frowned.
"Hey! That's mean," she said.
"So is calling someone blind," The boy responded heartily.
"Sorry about that...I just thought."
"Don't worry about it," the boy interrupted " I'm Thorn by the way." The girl smiled.
"I'm Wildfire!" She chirped happily.
"Nice to meet you, Wildfire!"
