Chapter 3

At home----- The rain dropped down my window leaving me bored and depressed. I look at my phone to see out I had any messages. I went to my kitchen to warm up my Chinese food from last night.

My computer~ BEEP! BEEP!

I run over to my computer.

Email~ crushing.com check link

I was so confused.

Nichole~ 💭 Why in the world is crushing.com emailing me?

I clicked the link, which lead to crushing.com.

I read the notification.

Crushing.com ~ 5 new request and 23 unread messages.

Nichole~💭 When did I make an account?

I clicked onto my messages:

Randy: Hey sexy bitch.

Brian: Hey hottie

Frank: Wassup

Player123: Be mine?

Big dog: Wanna meet up?

Harold: Hey there.

Youngin123: Follow me I'm a savage.

Joe: You like coffee?

Paul: Hi Nichole, how have you been?

Utah: What's your number bae?

Nutella boy124: You looking like a snack.😜

Justin: you know what's up.

I didn't even finish reading. I couldn't believe all of these people were interested in ME.

Microwave: Beep Beep

I went to go get my food out of the microwave. As I started heading back to the computer a new message came in.

Jerry~ Hi.

I stared at the computer froze.

Nichole~💭 Soooooooo.

It was so awkward not knowing what to do next.

I grab the mouse and clicked onto the message. Hesitating and confused, I replied to the message with a hi.

I held my breath and waited for him to answer. While I waited I realized I never looked at his profile picture. I clicked onto his picture and he was gorgeous. His smile was so big and adorable, his freckles were so unique, and ommmmg I can't even describe it.

It sort of creeped me out after a while. His eyes were staring back at me, made me feel flattered but scared.

Computer~ BEEP!

Jerry texted back. I was so excited to read.

Jerry: How are you today?

It was scary at first but after a few more messages it felt natural. Telling him about me, was something I never imagined doing before but he started sharing things with me also.
