Chapter 14

Nichole' s point of view:

2pm
Melissa and I are going to a cafe. We wanted to get lunch to see the difference from our favorite cafe back at home.We decided to make it a lunch date. Melissa invited Ryan and I invited Kyle.

Kyle and I sat across from each other, while Melissa and Ryan sat across from each other. We began to look at the menu.💏💏

Kyle~ "So, how are you going to spend your last few days here?"

Nichole~ "I don't want to think about me leaving."

Melissa~ "Can we please stay a couple more days?"

Melissa started to poke her lips out trying to get me to extend our vacation.👄

Nichole~ "I don't know. I actually miss Tennessee."

Ryan~ "Babe please don't leave."

Melissa~ "I don't want to leave you, but it's all up to Nichole."

Nichole~ "Well...."

Kyle grabbed my waist and stared at me. I looked down at him and smiled.
Leaving Kyle would be hard because it was fun getting to know him. Also ruining Melissa's happiness would be the second worst thing in the world.💨💨

I dreamt about going to work the 3rd night I arrived. It almost made me cry, but my therapist also wanted me to stay away from people that stress me out. Work was my main concern back at home, it was the only thing to do. The dating website was a distraction, Jerry was a distraction. Not a bad distraction but it took my mind off of my money.💣💣💣

I looked at Melissa and....

Nichole~ "Fine we will spend at least 3 more weeks here. You need a break from your ex back home."

Melissa~ "Don't even bring him up."

Melissa's ex was crazy obsessed with her. He would go to her job, follow her home, go to family events uninvited, stalk her on social media, text her repeatedly, call her multiple times, and break into her home to trash her place. 📱⌨⌨He even slept under her bed for a week without her knowing. As soon as she found out she called the cops, he was arrested for 3 nights. When he finally got out he threatened to kill her. 🗡🗡🔫🔫

Melissa always bothers me about being single. She's the one who can't keep a man for more than 2 months because she gets too paranoid, thinking that he's going to turn out crazy.

Back to the story...

Melissa~ "I can't believe you decided to stay."

Kyle~ "Can you promise not to leave?"

Nichole~ "We have to leave at some point you psycho."

Kyle~ "Or you can live here."

Nichole~ "Nah. That reminds me I have a appointment with my therapist this week."

Melissa~ "When?. I'll take you."

Nichole~ "Thursday at 3pm"

Melissa~ "Perfect timing."

Nichole~ "What do you have planned?"

Ryan~ "Melissa and I are going on a cruise."

Nichole~ "Why the hell didn't you tell me?"

Melissa~ "You never asked."

I kicked Melissa under the table. She looked at me and shrugged.

Nichole~ "Can I come?"

Melissa~ "Its for couples only."

Nichole~ "Kyle do you want to come?"

Kyle~ "Sure babe."
