I am a living stereotype,
I have the short hair,
And zero skill for makeup.
I wear sweaters that are too big for me
And have the social skills of a 3 year old
I live my life as a stereotype
Playing roles such as:
'Faggot'
'nerd'
'socially awkward teenager'
And 'band geek'
But I don't let it get to me
I spend lunch alone doing homework
I stay after school every day for band
And the awkward part I really can't help
But, many people don't see
That I don't care for your labels
Your types
Your games
I am me
And I am not ashamed
I'll do what I want with my hair
And you can't stop me
I am a living stereotype
But in a way,
I'm not
I fall into a category that is completely my own.
Everyone is the center of their own Venn diagram of stereotypes
You can pick one.
Or two
Or twelve if you want
You should just be you.
Because I am me and you are you
And that's enough.
