A Lover's Journey: A NALU fanfiction

Unexpected

                                                                              Natsu's POV

After wandering out of that hellish place I woke up a, I had made my way to a forest not too far off. As I progressed towards it, the night began to show its face. My wound must have healed overnight as walking wasn't as painful anymore. I stroked my hand over it slowly. The wound has definitely has been healing. If it's healed that much, how long have I been asleep?

The trees hovered over me like an umbrella. Their shade cooling my skin with its touch. The leaves billowed around in the wind in a beautiful dance. It entranced me with its grace and elegance. I smiled as I made my way throughout the elegant forest. 

Two birds flew through the trees; worms in their beaks. They landed on a branch with a nest and three baby birds. I plan to have kids; if I ever get back. Lucy and I could marry and have beautiful babies. I sighed. I missed Lucy so much. It's like someone ripped my heart out of my chest and threw it millions of miles away.  It hurts. I just want Lucy by my side.

" Hey, Natsu! It's me Gajeel! What the hell are you doing out here?"

" I was trying to go back to Fairy.."

" We all know you have no sense of direction. Come on I'll take you back. Lucy has been waiting for you!" He grabbed me and dragged me behind him. I heard a train whistle in the distance. I instantly felt a wave nausea surf through my body and kick me in the gut. Gajeel looked about how I felt.

" I'm sorry Natsu but we are taking the train. Levy came with us to make sure we get off. Let's go," He gagged and kept dragging me off. I passed out from nausea. I didn't awake until after the train ride thankfully. Levy had to drag both Gajeel and me off the train, poor girl. I stood up and began to run towards Fairytale with every ounce of strength I possessed.

 I flung the doors of the guild open," Lucy!"

" Natsu!" 

I ran towards her and grabbed her waist; her arms around my neck. She kissed my cheek. I kissed her lips passionately.

" Where the hell were you, Lucy? Do you know how much I goddamned missed you? Maybe next time tell us before you go somewhere so we don't have to have to hunt for a stupid bitch!"

" Natsu, I'm sorry. I'll explain it all later."

" You'd better,"
