Natsu's Pov
I missed Lucy and I was tired of waiting for death. I took a job I knew I couldn't handle. It was to clean a cavern of flesh-eating demon lords. I actually thought I had completed the job. Before five fingernails, with dagger-like qualities, impaled my chest. I chuckled. He may have killed me, but I've gotten what I wanted.
Here I come, Lucy!
I woke up laying down in a cave made of what seemed to be literal fire and magma
"Hello and welcome to Hell! I will be your tour guide and....." He paused to stare at my face. And gasped. He ran off faster than I thought possible. I was in.... Hell? How did that happen? I should ask the guy when he gets back.
The guy from early came back with someone with a hooded robe that draped onto the ground.
" Well hello, Natsu."
"Z-Zeref?" he chuckled and lifted his hood. Holy shit! It was him.
"So how'd you end up in Hell?"
" I have no clue, big brother. See, I was looking for someone. Who probably isn't here in Hell."
"Give me their name and I can help you find them."
"Her name is Lucy Heartfila, she's a celestial wizard."
" Yeah, then she's not here. See any sort of celestial mages get sent to the Spirit Realm. You're a demon. A major one, in fact. So that's why you're here Natsu."
"Could I get sent to the Spirit Realm, somehow?"
" It's possible, Natsu, but difficult. How much are you willing to do to see this girl again?" I stared at him with the intensity of an erupting volcano. He nodded." Follow me, Natsu."
We began to walk through the pits of Hell. Demons and succubus' roamed the pits laughing and drinking. Magma creatures were attempting to pull their bodies out of the wall, unsuccessfully. A devilet ran past me, grabbing my ass on the way.
" We're almost there, Natsu. See that steel circle in the distance?"I nodded."That's how the King of the Spirit Realm and I keep in contact. You're going to attempt to bargain your entrance to Spirit Realm permanently. Most likely you're going to take a major quest. Or he'll take something away from you."
He slapped my back and used a spell I had never seen before to open up the portal. Soon a bright light burst through steel circle. He pushed me towards the portal and smiled at me.
"Good luck, Natsu!"
Soon I walked through the portal. I felt I felt a slight breeze which blew my hair. The bright light still made me squint. Once the glare cleared up, I saw the most beautiful sight.
It was her.
My love.
