Ch 16: What Must Be Done, Must Be Done

Spencer's P.O.V.

A Month Later ...

It was the day of Father's wedding. Mother was healthy and well, but she didn't take the news good at all. It was obvious she still loved him. Her memory had been restored within a day, fortunately, so no huge problems occurred. Mother was crying in her room for a day or two though, I don't really know the exact period because Jillian took me out a lot to let her have some alone time.

Malachi and I were performing another switch to make Plan C come into affect. Now that the wedding had come into the picture, ideas popped into our heads like Pennywise's red balloons. Luckily, I look pretty sharp in a tuxedo.

I walked into Father's dressing room in the lower area in the church. It was an inside wedding so that Georgina could display all of her fancy decorations she had bought for the wedding. Most likely it came out of Father's  funds; maybe Malachi's college tuition.

"Hey, posh." Dad said, handing me my signature gel I told him about. Yeah, of course he knew it was me. My eyes were a dead giveaway now that he knew. Since his nickname for Malachi was "sport", he decided to call me "posh" after my high-end lifestyle with Mother.

"Alright, how do I look?" He said in a slightly disappointed tone.

He wore a nice gray suit, with a long pink tie and jet black shoes. His hair was combed back and she made him trim his nice, fluffy beard. He looked too... normal. Father wasn't normal, Mother wasn't normal, our family wasn't normal. This wasn't right.

"You look nice. Now go get her, tiger!" I said enthusiastically, my voice laced with sarcasm.

He chuckled, "None of that will be happening. But thanks, bud. Now let's go get me married."

Yeah, let's...

Third Person P.O.V

The bells sounded their sweet, angelic rings that promised a new life for those who wed underneath them. People from both sides of the family, random friends from town, even that lovely girl Spencer, who inspired two beautiful parents one day, was there with her current beau. Guests were dressed in their nicest attire for a day of celebration and togetherness. Although, many disagreed with this reunion. Yet when the preacher called for those objections to be heard, the people were to frightened of the bride to say anything against her.

Leonardo stood tall and brave at the alter, yet he secretly wished he could crawl into a grave outside and never return. This wasn't who he was meant to share his life with, he knew that for a fact.
