Percy's Hunters

Chapter 4

I changed chap 2 so Sally would have had twins, simply cus Percy having a brother would be cool!

"Ummm why do I have three goddesses in my kitchen?!," Poseidon said to himself as he walked into his palace.

"Because. We are making blue food" Hestia said matter-of-factly as she stirred the pancake mixture, "duh" added Hera.

Poseiden thought he was dreaming, there was no way that Hera would 'duh' anyone. He turned and walked out, obviously in need of some sleep.

As they watched the confused Poseidon walk out the trio burst into giggles, "primordials, I hope no-one else heard that. 'Duh' is so not a queenly word" Hera said making Artemis fall over clutching her sides. (cuz if demigods say 'gods' what do gods say XD).

Smoke came from the frying pan as Artemis' blue bacon burned, "damnit, those were going well"

--------------Percy's-Room-

Percy woke up to the smell of bacon and having not eaten since the blue cookies in the taxi the day before he was starving! 

He felt a lot better having someone to comfort him when he had broken down, no offence to his dad but he wasn't a very good shoulder to cry on. Percy still found the fact that two goddesses that hated him and Hestia helped him out, strange.

Then the bacon wafted again and he didn't care. 

-------------Palace-Kitchen-

"Food" was all Percy could make out before he was mobbed by the goddesses "guys cant breathe" Percy was happy that he had some people, however unlikely, that he could confide in. 

"Right," Artemis said "Mortals need to breathe, Oops" their grip on him loosened. "sorry bout that little one," Hestia said, "but we are just happy you are awake".

Poseidon walked in and sprinted over to Percy and hugged him tightly "ugh, what is it with gods and stopping my normal respiration system" he said sassily.

"Hera, Hestia, Artemis thank you all so much," Poseidon said close to tears. Percy seeing the concern on his dad's face started crying again because one cannot cry enough apparently. Hugging his dad Percy smiled through the tears "I will be ok, I know it" he said voice cracking Poseidon smiled "we will be ok son, we will be fine".

"Hey let us join," Artemis said getting jealous of Poseidon hogging all the Percy. "What?" Poseidon said still mildly confused as to why they were here in the first place "I agree with Arty" Hestia said "we shall hug Percy too" Poseidon was being a very dense little god.

Hera rolled her eyes "we are here because we care for Percy and couldn't watch him suffering, now shove it, little brother" she said while joining the hug leaving a flabbergasted Poseidon as both of the other goddesses joined the hug.

"Thanks, guys," Percy said for the first time genuinely happy since the incident.

After Hera, Hestia and Artemis left to do godly things, Percy looked to his father "Can we arrange me meeting with my mortal parents in Elysium soon" he breathed out voice cracking at the end.

Poseidon smiled at that "that might be a little hard perce, they aren't in Elysium" Percy looked to his grinning father "why are you smiling about that, they were wonderful people" Poseidon's smile widened "Yes that's why they were made minor gods. 

Sally, of blue food and parental affection/worry and Paul of teaching and clearsighted mortals. Also, Angel and Richard were born after their full transition to god was made they are both demigods because they were only partially transitioned before their birth.

Percy started crying tears of joy, his parents were alive(well sort-of) and ok. "thanks for telling me this, but why not earlier" Poseidon laughed sheepishly. 

"I only found out just before I met you in the kitchen, I had hallucinated Hera saying 'duh' so I decided I needed some sleep so I went off to find Hypnos and instead found one very confused new god one passed out new god and two small children in Sally's arms"

"Eileithyia had to explain to me what they were doing there. I rushed over here to tell you but when I saw you actually talking to Hera, Hestia and Artemis I forgot all about it" Percy smiled at the mention of his current favorite gods "can I see them soon" Percy asked.

"yes," Poseidon said smiling "we will go see them tomorrow".

RR here with my second chapter today, sorry if the chapter seemed too happy but I want to get to the part where Percy gets hunters, but I still need to make sense. Ughhhh!

I am a prime example of first world problems today.
