You sat with Leah, the second meeting since back then, her hair white as snow, her eyes pure with fear.
"(Y/N) the devil is real, and his not some little red guy with horns and a tail...he can be beautiful. He was an angel, Jesus' Favourite before becoming what he is now." Leah cried
"Leah how have you been since last time?..."
"You know we're all blind to the truth, the book of revelations tells us of a curse put on each of us and we just pass it off!"
"Leah please"
Leah teared up.
"I can sleep now, with the help of pills every night I get at most four hours but it helps....What's happened at the house"Leah gulped
"I think I might need to borrow those pills..."
In all honestly you hadn't been dealing well with finding out Tate's past, the two men that died here before you, the ghosts of the invaders, everyone around you seemed to be dead, the two girls in nurse outfits, you began to see them more often, the two girls mainly, but sometimes you saw twin boys with blonde hair, then you would see Fiona in the mirror upstairs smiling. You couldn't sleep, you knew that, it was becoming harder and harder, so Leah gave you a tiny bottle of pills.
"Thank you Leah"You smiled
You slipped the pills into your pocket as you waved goodbye.

You sat in bed, flicking through pages slowly, reading every word that graced the page when Tate showed up next.
"You like birds too?"Tate asked leaning against your doorframe
Your stomach twitches remembering what he was, what he didn't know and what you promised never to tell.
"A little.
Why do you like them Tate?"You asked looking at his name written down
"I guess it's because they can fly, fly away from problems, when bad shit goes down"Tate sighed
You smiled.
"Don't we all wish we could do that?"
Tate smiled.
