An hour or so later everyone went home as Jughead and Betty walked back hand in hand Jug piped up "Betty, i've wanted to tell you this for some time now and i dont want to ruin our relationship." He paused nervously unsure to tell her even though the words were on the tip of his tounge ready to spill out. "Nothing will ever ruin our relationship Juggie." And with those words spoken from Betty Jughead took a deep breath and told her...
"Im asexual. Im ace." Jughead said rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. "That doesn't mean i don't love you or still don't want to kiss you and hold your hand. I just don't want to have sex." He awaited nervously for Betty's reply.
"Jughead. Thats ok. I still love you, its nice that you told me that." She replied with a genuinely happy smile on her face and brought Jug into a loving hug and gave him a kiss before walking back home.
Soon they found themselves curled up in bed together holding each other close before the Jughead's phone pinged at the sound of a message. Jug chose to ignore it at first but the messages kept coming which ultimately ruined the moment him and Betty was having.
He looked at all the mean things people had wrote to him in a group chat containing him and 3 other people who go unknown. He tried not to let them bother him, more importantly let Betty see that they were bothering him. So he just turned off his phone muting the group chat and going to sleep.
Jughead only felt like he slept for five minutes before the annoying beep of the alarm clock signalled him about the tiresome day of school he had ahead of him. He looked over to see Betty turn over to face him still bundled up in the covers she saw Jughead's tired and distraught face of so she immediately said "Is everything okay Jug you look like somethings wrong, what is it?".
"Nothing, i just didn't get much sleep last night that's all." Betty didn't question Jughead's answer as he usually doesnt get a lot of sleep but this time she didnt know the reason behind it. It was because of all the mean messages being sent to him.》°•《》•《Time skip》•《》•°《
Later at school wasn't any better he had been tackled by Chuck in P.E when playing soccer and at lunch he got his head down the toilet by Reggie. Jughead didn't care if he got hurt as the abuse was something so natural to him now that he didnt even try to fight against it, he just let it happen because if he was to try and fight against it would just end up being worse. He continued his day as if nothing was wrong but on the inside he just felt worthless and lonely, He wanted to erase himself existence. But he also wanted to talk about his problems to someone, to anyone but is scared they will judge him. He just wanted someone to say they love him, he wants someone to hold, he wanted someone to say that everything would be okay. This someone is Betty who already does all of this apart from judge him.
The bell rang for the final lesson of the day, only one more hour and he would be free from the hell-like school. The lesson was music which wasn't all bad, he liked to play drums because they stopped him from angry, upset or stressed. Although for most people drums would be annoying for them Jughead found them therapeutic and calming (that just proves how weird he is.) Nobody but Betty heard him play drums before, not even Archie! And now he had to play them in front of the whole entire class, why? Because the new music teacher wanted to know what instrument everyone could play. Jug was shaking with nerves but with a reassuring glance from Betty his fear dissolved from his blood and started playing and blew everyone away.
OMG I FINALLY WROTE SOMETHING THANK GOD. Yessss asexual Jughead i hope you liked that and the part about Jug playing drums is something from the comics and i thought tying in some narrative strings from the comics into this would be cool. Anyway i really hoped you enjoyed this chapter and sorry it took me so long to write this chapter its that ive had severe writers block but its finally done yaaayy!!!
