Hidden In These Lies

Chapter 5

"I-uhh, listen im being bullied by i dont know who. They keep sending me mean messages and i want it to stop. Ive wanted to end everything, even my whole life. But i couldn't leave you. I just wish for it all to stop they keep saying that i should just kill myself because nobody cares about me and, a-". He was cut off by Betty's soft hands cupping his face hoping to calm his nerves. Tears streamed down his face and he was shaking. "Juggie, im so sorry. Dont worry im going to sort everything out. Ok." She reassured him whilst wiping his tears away his tears with her thumbs and he smiled. "Ok." They continued to walk home hand in hand making sure to never lose each other.

They arrived back at the Coopers, Betty and Jug were snuggled on the couch with Betty's head on his lap and him stroking her golden locks. Jughead felt a whole bunch of weight drift off his shoulders after telling Betty about what's being going on. Later that night when it was time for him to go to sleep he no longer had nightmares instead he smiled during his slumber whilst holding his beloved Elisabeth close to him.

But both Betty and Jughead, everyone in the house pretty much, awoke to a sound of crying pain coming from Polly's room. They all burst into her bedroom in to see what was the matter. Polly only managed to pant, "The babies. T-their com-coming." Soon there was panic. People were rushing about getting ready to go to the hospital.

But all this chaos was too much for Betty.

She started hyperventilating and she rested her head on her knees trying to muffle her sobs. Jughead whilst also panicking like everyone else noticed Betty's behaviour. He crouched down to her level and stroked her back gently. "Betty listen to me. Everything will be fine ok." She whimpered a reply, Jughead decided to get her away from all the noise and chaos and took her back to her room and sat down on the bed.

They both sat in silence apart from a few whimpers from Betty's crying which soon calmed. "Sorry about that Juggie." She said softly whilst wiping her tears. "Its fine Betts i understand why you're so panicked. And in all honesty when my sister Jellybean was born i felt the same way you did." He reassured her whilst rubbing her arm. "Everything will be fine." He said softly in her ear to make sure she heard. Betty leaned her head on Jughead's shoulder "I love you Juggie."
"I love you to Betty. I always will."
