Alice took her time to grip onto the kitchen door handle. When she finally gathered up the courage to open the door, she probably had the biggest fright of her life. There was food all over the floor, smashed glasses, cupboards half open, and the tap was on. One thing there wasn't, was the person that caused it. Where were they?
Then Alice felt a cold draft brush past her face. All the windows were shut.
