Alice didn't bother about going back to the police anymore. She didn't care if she didn't believe her.
Alice waited all night until 3:00 am. She wanted to maybe ask her ancestor some questions since she didn't really know much about him.
When it finally came 3:00 am. Alice gently tiptoed down the stairs to see if she could find any sign of the ghost. As much as she was scared she was also excited.
First she searched in the kitchen, from when she first saw him. But it all seemed still and quiet in there so she headed on to the next room.
Next she checked in the sitting room. She looked around, hoping to see a shadow of a tall man. Suddenly, there was the booming sound of the TV behind her. She knew the ghost was in the room because the TV couldn't have switched on by itself.
"Hello?" she called. She was starting to shake again.
FLUSH!
There went the toilet flushing.
She crept into the washroom which was the room next to her.
She slowly open the door of the washroom and saw the toilet paper was unraveling by itself.
"Robert Bennet?" she said.
The toilet paper stopped unraveling.
"Sh-shut the toilet seat if you can hear me," she said.
At once the toilet seat shut.
"Um...ok... I don't know if you can talk but I am Alice Bennet: your great niece," she said.
"I have a great niece...?" the ghost replied in a quiet whisper.
"Y-yes. I looked up you on my family history and it said you were...murdered."
"He...he killed me!" came a quiet but angry response.
"Who killed you?" questioned Alice.
"Chris Churchill... The traitor..."
"How did he kill you?" Alice asked interested.
"He... Poisoned me!"
"I-I'm sorry that happened..." said Alice.
"The bastard!"We talked for quite a while. I kind of forgot that he was a ghost and treated him like a normal human being having a conversation.
When I finally decided to check the time, I was shocked to see that it was 3:59 am.
"I have go now," he said.
"Where do you go?" she asked.
"We go to the land of the dead," he answered.
"That's cool!" she exclaimed.
She was the first person probably to know what was going to happen for sure after you died.
It then turned 4:00 am.
Robert's shadow started to fade away. Alice held her arm out to try and reach out to him but by the time she did, he disappeared...
