A Mysterious Girl

11years had past since that man took my parent im 17 now and this is the part of my story where I met the girl of my dreams.

"I wonder if I can got Seattle, and try to find a place to stay?" i say in my head.

I start to walk to Seattle wondering what it would be like and how many DUP's would be there, would I even be able to find a place to stay and work. As I walk over a hill I see the bright lights of Seattle in the night sky, I try to travel at night.

"Wow, those lights are gorgeous."

I walk more into Seattle and see pub on the outskirts of the city.

"I wonder how drunk I can get before I pass out, well only one way to find out." I say in my head as I walk to the pub.

I walk to the front of the pub and push the door open, everyone stares at me as I walk over to the bartender.

"Can I get a drink?" I ask the bartender in a worried voice.

The bartender looks at me and says. "you can only get drink if over 18."

I move my head back a bit because his breath smelt like like a rotting skunk with a side wet dog.

"Come man, im turning 18 in two days, can't you just let me have some." I say in a demanding voice which surprises me.

"No one tells me what to do." he says while putting his hand under the counter.

As I wonder what he is doing someone else barges into the pub I turn around but quickly turn back.

"Shit DUP, gotta get out of here." I think in my head as the DUP agent sits next to me.

He looks at me, and doesn't stop looking he turns a switch on his helmet, crap I think he's scanning me, wait I don't have any powers im fine, at least I thought I was.

"Bio-terrorist detected requesting backup."

Everyone in the pub leaves in a hurry, then a lode of DUP's come flooding in to the pub it was like they exchanged places, they all pointed their guns at me ready to shoot, but the pub starts growing vines, the DUP's shoot at me but I get protected by a tree, i hear loud thuds and I look around the tree to see a person just standing there with DUP's laying around them.

"Hey who are you, are you bio-terr I mean conduit?"

"Yes I am, now come on more DUP's will be coming."

They grab my arm and drag me out the door to an apartment.

"Is this your apartment?"

"Yes it is, sorry about the mess I was cleaning when I saw the DUP,s rush into pub.

"It's ok, I've never really seen the inside if a house before."

"Wow, really is this the first house you've been in."

I stare out the window for a bit until the question registers in my head.

"Yes this is the first time being in a house. um may I ask who are you?"

"Oh sorry my name is Elizabeth."

"Nice to meet you Elizabeth, my names Aleck.

I think in in my head "I wonder if she can help me find me find parents."

"So what powers do you have?" she says in a sweet voice.

"Um.. well." I say whilst trying to find out what to say." I say in a nervous tone.

"What don't know what powers you have." She says in a sarcastic voice

I stare at her beautiful face and nod.

"Really, wow I've never met conduit that doesn't know what their power is."

"Well it's kind of hard when you don't stay in one place."

She looks at me while still cleaning up her apartment.

"Well, in the morning I will help you find out what your power is but until then you can crash on the couch."

She wonders into her room and closes the door, i sit on the red couch looking around her apartment taking in what it looks like she comes back out in pajamas carrying blankets and pillows and just tossing them on me.

"You got a phone?" she asks with her head turned and slightly blushed.

"Um.. no I don't but I really want one."

"Ok, well ill get you one tomorrow, but you have to pay me back for it."

I stare at her once more and nod, she leaves to go back to her bedroom, I may down on the couch whilst putting a pillow under my head. I finally fall asleep.
